Fans here want to trade away our best players. There’s a thread with someone who wanted to trade CeeDee. Jerry seems to love trading away 4th round picks for jags, despite the fact we’ve drafted some very good players with 4th round picks

After the off-season which he lied multiple times to the fan base, signed 2 guys to record setting deals at the end of the off-season, let 8 starting players leave without replacing them and then acted shocked when the team isnt doing well, he has to absolutely be doing this on purpose at this point. Maybe he has been told this is his last year in charge and he is just messing around now? I dont know.

Exactly, Miami did it right when they traded off their older starters and "legally" tanked their season. Cowboys should have done the same, get what they could out of what little assets they've got and cement their losing streak, then they'll have nice high draft picks for next year.

Anybody believe anything the Jonesboyz have to say need psychiatric help themselves. And Jerry had the nerve to say last Sunday " I feel for the fans". It reminds me of the movie Alien when the android said " i can't lie about your chances-but you have my sympathy". Jones says this to Dallas fans every year. Jerry knows his fan base is the most ignorant and gullible in the league. He can do what he wants. And they will come back crawling for more next year.

Jerry is trying to make sure the Cowboys stay in the spotlight. Playoff teams like Washington and Detroit made great trades but the national media shows the Cowboys trade of a 4th round pick in the top half of their shows. To be honest that high 4th round pick is worth it for Jerry as once again the Cowboys are still in the media spotlight. I believe if we bottom out and get a chance to get Deion’s son Jerry will milk that opportunity to the end.

Actually the frightening thing about all this is Jerry probably thinks he’s doing the right thing. This explains why the team is in the mess it’s in. No real positive plan, just knee jerk reactions.

I was listening to Bob Sturm on The Ticket earlier this week and he continues to ask the same question he’s asked for years: “What is Jerry Jones‘ team building philosophy? In short, what kind of team does he try to build?”

The truth is none of us know. He doesn’t talk about it, it’s not obvious in the types of teams we’ve had, especially the last 5 years. It’s just a collection of players. Some good, some not. But there does not seem to be any kind of core philosophy that guides this organization. Other than $$$$$$.

Look at the differences in our last 6 head coaches: Gayley, Campo, Parcells, Wade, Garrett, McCarthy. All of those guys have a wide variety of offensive and defensive philosophies. That’s because the only philosophy our GM has is making himself the centerpiece and mouthpiece of everything.

The Cowboys football roster building organization is a rudderless ship. An old, washed out 82 year old captain is at the ship’s wheel, and he has run into the same iceberg for nearly three decades. And he thinks he’s the best person to lead us back to glory. After 29 straight strikeouts. It’s lunacy.

Great post. Yes, I’m afraid our beloved fuhrer is starting to really lose it. But I’ve got the tar and feathers ready for the unveiling of the Jerry statue coming to AT&T Stadium in 2027. Since it will be twice as large as Landry’s I have extra tar ready to go.
