Spencer will need to be Full Participation Wed through Friday in order to be active for the game, IMO.

Spencer claims that the injury is fine now, but that he just trying to get into football condition. I'm skeptical about Spencer because the original estimates were that he would play in week 2.

Watching the Rams game, I kept thinking the thing they need the most is an outside pass rusher with some speed. Mincey is doing well as a power type pass rusher, but I think he's playing too many snaps.

Mincey has really impressed me with his motor. I was shaking my head when he was covering the flat in the red zone. The problem, as you said, is that he is a power guy. I don't think we have had a legit RE all season.

Spencer was better than Ware the last year he played a full season. That wasn't a product of Ware.

If he's healthy, he'll be playing a 4-3 and many think he was better suited to that anyways. I hope he's healthy, cause if he is, I think he'll surprise a lot of haters.

Jerry can't help himself when it comes to taking advantage of any opportunity to display some shred of knowledge that the general public hasn't been privy to. Rather than allowing his head coach to disperse the offerings of knowledge to the public, he can't resist any chance of putting his expertise on display to one and all.

That was about the 3rd time they had attempted to get that TD on short yardage. I think the Rams OC realized from the previous alignments that Mincey would end up in coverage if the TE ran that route.

Mincey was on the end with Wilber next to him inside on those plays. I don't know why that alignment was not reversed with Wilber on the outside.

Their OC did a really good job of calling just the right play at the right time on several occasions.

They had some play designs that I really liked. There was a play where the outside WR ran his route horizontal just inside of the slot WR and then back out. This forced the outside CB inside and then when he tries to get back outside the slot CB and the defender covering him cause a natural pick. If the timing is right, it's a really difficult to defend.

Mincey also dropped into coverage early and the football was thrown right to him and he dropped it. I would like to sign a petition to never put him in coverage again

Time has come to activate Sam. J Crawford brings nothing and we have no one that can get to the QB on 3rd down.

Sam over Crawford yeah but for some reason I think we 3-4 weeks say fromnthat happening. We need a damn pass rush, well there's some rush just not producing the sacks.

I wouldn't complain a about a Pass Defensed even if he dropped it. He actually reached out with 1 hand to knock it down. It would have been difficult to catch it.

Cowboys Optimistic Spencer Will Play Against Saints

Cowboys Executive Vice President Stephen Jones told the G-Bag Nation on Monday that the team is optimistic that Spencer will return this Sunday.

“Yes we are. Barring something unforeseen, he’s ready to work back into practice and get ready to play against the Saints,” said Jones on Monday. “We probably won’t throw him out there and give him the full experience, but we’ll certainly limit his snaps to some degree. But we really think he can not only come back, but really help us.”

“I think it’s close. I don’t think we’d have him back out there if he wasn’t ready to go,” said Jones. “The bigger thing is the time off. Like we said with Tony [Romo], anytime you miss significant playing time, you’ve got to knock the rust off. As much as you practice and work out and prepare, you can’t simulate a live game.”

Jerry only said what many of us are hoping for that Spencer, Ro will be back in the lineup this week.

Fair enough, nevertheless, it's something that's normally reserved for the head coach to announce. Jerry has never been able to resist the opportunity to steal the limelight from his HC. Normally, the HC shouldn't have to take a back seat to the owner -- that'll never be the case in Dallas, however.

Jerry thought Melton had a groin injury and turns out it was a hamstring, not sure Jerry know his head from his xxx anymore.

No he is not other owners make comments you don't pay attention. Bob Kraft will comment as well on players so do many others. It is no big deal, Jerry does not tell coaches what plays to run, who to play he commented on Hoping a player returns just as many fans hope. As for the limelight who cares, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban stays in the limelight as well and?

Thank goodness he doesn't tell coaches what plays to run and who to play -- now, there's something to be truly grateful for -- lol.

Tex Schramm talked a lot he had his own TV shows heck he is the one that carried on the America's team tag despite the fact Landry did not care for it. No one cared that he talked and was constantly in the lime light. I get it a lot of people do not like jerry but when people act as if this is something unheard of then it makes me think they know nothing of this franchise.
