Thing is, cheering for wins or losses will not change Jerry Jones' mentality at all. It seems reasonable hitting him in the wallet and/or increasing his opportunities for drafting blue chip players is sound logic. It would be for most everyday, practical business people and even some of Jones' peers. However, applying reason, that will modify his particular mindset, is a task far less practical than many believe.
And the reality is most fans don't car compared to the board here Went to Sundays game...mainly because my high school drill team daughters were in the halftime show with the cheerleaders. But my wife got us into her company's suite. We got there early and walked around a lot. A large majority of fans wore merchandise and the group we were with were all cheering like we were going to the Super Bowl. As long as that exists, Jerry is fine. I'll admit too....when you are there and you see all the video screen board commercials and Michael Irvin getting people fired up and Tony Dorset was in attendance.....it's a good product and sell. But that is all it is right now.

Bold> Understood but I will re-emphasize my opinion a significant decrease in those fans and their cheering will not impact Jerry Jones like it would most everyday practical business people. He is not wired that way in the head.

And I know well the inside stadium atmosphere and those who attend. I have been to Arlington a number of times since the stadium opened. :)

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan: "I can't tell you how proud I am of the way the coaching staff, led by Mike McCarthy, the way that the leadership on this team, and really proud of these young players. They just are growing mentally and physically by leaps and bounds, makes me think we've got and outstanding future ahead of us."

Lol I said he would say that after win ! I knew he would go overboard with it!

He'll change his tune once the TOAD HUNTER is well enough to get back out there and start throwing picks multiple times a game!

Like his bozo son, he's just setting up the fanbase for his re-signing of McCarthy and then an offseason that will result in zero quality FAs, a few bargain bin slop to fill a few spots on the 53 and then all this talk about how the draft will fill our real holes and make us a contender in 2025.

Anyone who believes that at this point is a fool.

We’ve missed the playoffs and because the team has finally started to show some fight and win games he’s acting like the Cowboys have accomplished something great.

Jerry knows it will take a miraculous sales pitch to get fans back next season.
He's hoping the anti-Dak fans will buy in once more, and that they'll forget the past.
It won't happen.

Jerry has you right where he wants you: Selling you an illusory late season run, so he won't have to make any real changes. Of course, half of you are buying it......
