Twitter: Jerry: I thought we'd look better tonight without Dak

I almost deleted this thread thinking it was a misquote or trolling, but as unbelievable as it is, Jerry actually said the exact words from the thread title in the video.

What does one have to say before people think they're senile?

He never had a game worse than what we saw today in his entire NFL career. Rush only had a few passes that traveled more than 5 to 8 yards in the air. He threw a deep shot down the field and under threw an open receiver. To only pass for 45 yards, averaging 2 yards a completion is as bad as it gets. Not to mention his 2 turnovers. Despite short throws he barely completed 50% of his passes. Knowing your agenda, you probably think Rush didn’t have that bad a good and was actually pretty good.
Seriously?!?!
An argument over which of the Cowboys’ ****** QB’s took the biggest dump on the field?
That’s what rooting for this franchise has reduced the fans to.

Rush took one of the biggest dumps at QB I’ve ever seen by a Cowboys QB and I’ve been following the team since 1972. Only 45 yards, averaging only 2 yards an attempt with 2 turnovers. It doesn’t get much worse than that.

This is embarrassingly 100% correct.

I’ve been following since 1970.
Yes, Rush was horrible.
This entire team is horrible.
There is only one person to blame for this dumpster fire.

Our offense never looked as bad with Dak at any point in his career as what we saw today with Rush. I’m not sure any of the QBs we used during the Campo era ever had a stinker this bad. The fans that were touting Rush as a better QB than Dak and on par with him are still wiping pie from their face.
The gist of this thread....Dak Haters are in lock step with Jerry. Only when they aren't :lmao2: :lmao: :lmao2: :lmao:

I mean it plays credence into he theory Jerry didn't want to sign Dak and someone else in the front office convinced him last minute.
Even giving him the benefit of that doubt, he's still the decision making GM. Add this quotes together, "ALL-IN", "Run the same Game-plan as with Dak" and now this latest shows signs of senility, that usually pertains to a stubborn outlook rather than suggestive to others opinions.

Poor sentence structure on Jerry Jones part.

Considering context, he was trying to say that, as a team without their starting quarterback, he thought they would have played better than they actually did.

He wasn't comparing a Dak-led team to a team without him.

Funny enough, he always has issues with sentence structure, yet this one time certain posters decide to take him literally at his word.

Yes, this was a historically bad game. Tied for 3rd lowest passing yards (49) and 12th lowest total yards (146) in a game by the Cowboys. 9th lowest passing yds/play. That's out of 989 total games played all-time.

I'll agree with that, however, the previous All-In quote indicates the 'lost in tine' element of the onset of the aging brain.
I think, as with most things, it's a mixture. The problem is I doubt there's anyone to convince him.
