that statement alone tells you where this clown is in his head. Jerry sorry you will never win another superbowl alive until you step aside and let someone make the decisions

I'll agree with that, however, the previous All-In quote indicates the 'lost in tine' element of the onset of the aging brain.
I think, as with most things, it's a mixture. The problem is I doubt there's anyone to convince him.
Oh, definitely believe this is the onset of dementia. It's just exacerbated by his already odd way of speaking.

Dak has been so bad and looked so shot physically that I can understand why Jerry might HOPE they might look better but it’s ridiculous to expect it. Rush is not a Joe Flacco or Jameis Winston type of backup that has it in him to sling it around and put up big numbers. Especially knowing how good Philly is and that you are going to be playing from behind and their D can be aggressive.

What a lot of people are failing to see is that while Dak would have certainly thrown for more yards he also would have thrown 3+ picks and taken 3+ bad sacks and probably doesn’t score much more if anything above 6 points. So 34-6 might have turned into 48-6 or 48-13. I honestly don’t see how that is any better.

What?

Say what you want about Dak. He certainly has earned it. But you want to also throw into your rant the cowboys record with Dak at QB against the eagles over his tenure?

I almost deleted this thread thinking it was a misquote or trolling, but as unbelievable as it is, Jerry actually said the exact words from the thread title in the video.

I think he means to say that he thought despite not having Dak, they would have looked better than they did tonight, not that he thought losing Dak and starting Rush was a net positive improvement.

Yeah, but his meaning was he'd thought the team wouldn't be horrific without Prescott.
He's still in denial about Daks contract.
At this point he's just a turnip

Rush being awful doesn’t make me miss Dak.

This team is going nowhere in the future without a legitimate young QB prospect, like Staubach or Aikman.

The cowboys can literally draft any position at this point and it will be a need. An aikman or staubach prospect don’t fix this

Now maybe that combined with hitting on a rb and Wr on offense along with another OL

Then we can look at the defense

Besides Jerry isn’t using a high pick on a qb after signing Dak

I think we need a entirely new coaching staff as the pilsbury dough boy ain’t cutting and zimmer is a downgrade

The last few weeks have been entertaining watching both Jerry and Wes Watson crash out. Both deserve all the hate and misery that comes their way.

Yes, the same guy Jerry made the highest-paid player ever.

This might be the closest to buyer's remorse we'll ever get from Jerry.

Maybe it's just me, but that's the most honest, accurate answer I've seen Jerry give throughout this whole debacle since he stated the words "All in"...

It again illustrates how strong the team was in 2022. Shame the offense couldn't put up 20 points against the Brock Purdy led 49ers. That was a genuine Superbowl roster as it was the previous season but more so in 2022.

Imagine going 4-1 with a trash practice squad QB like Rush! That was a loaded roster sadly wasted.

Yeah, kind of like the 2016 team in terms of wasted potential. To me, it was never a Dak vs Romo thing to me. It was the rational thing to play the better, more experienced QB, and likely have an even better team. If Romo got injured again (possible) or didn't play as well (unlikely) you could have always gone back to Dak.

The management of this team continues to just guess or work off of emotion instead of making the most rational football decisions that have worked consistently for winning traditions over the years. 'We don't need an offensive line, we have Romo.' ~ JJ the Dunce. Romo was only here because of the Parcells coaching tree. It's just a microcosm of why the team is cyclically here again and again for the past thirty years.

It's fun when people take the actual, very direct, words someone says and tries to bend them to mean what they want it to mean.

Reality / admins create a disable account feature like on FB, so I can deactivate my account pls.

I would not work for someone who can claim as per above. So why discuss their actions here.

I'd rather wait till they are gone and see a new dawn*

*Stephen.......oh dear me , will he see the light.
