Jerry is going to do his usual offseason cannonball into the water. I can feel it.

Reportedly, 2 teams, both left off of earlier reports as being interested in Desean are in deep negotiations with his agent right now.

My gut tells me this is gonna happen.

My gut is big, blubbery, and often tricks my mind into saying i'm hungry when i'm not, so we'll see.

I feel the same way about some sort of splash, I can't see d jax coming to Dallas.

Him and Dez are buddy's........he might be pushing for him, but I doubt it

No thank you. His best thing he gives us is his knowledge of Chips offense. He's not the RKG

Yeah, that's great. Pairing Dez with a guy who actually loves his image of being a thug. If the concerns about the sensitivity of the Dez situation is true and the image of Dez being a headache are true, hell no.

What would the financial cost be? Anyone?

This is one the best years in a long time for WRs from top to bottom in the draft, and that is by far the cheapest way to upgrade a team.

His average salary with the Eagles was 9.7 million per year, and he is coming off of a career year... My guess is that he will be looking for 11-13 million per year. An amount mind you that would severely cripple our ability to maneuver in the near future, a future that people expect will include re-signing Dez Bryant and Tyron Smith, and potentially resigning any other key players on this team.

With Dez Bryant you would be looking at at least 24 million dollars per year between the two of them. For the wide receiver position... Could be as high as 27 million, potentially even higher... I would call that obscene.

I really hope Dallas is not one of the teams interested, and i'm telling you why: Dez is about to sign his contract extension and paying Jackson a high salary/signing bonus/guaranteed money only will bring trouble to the negotiation with Bryant.

Dez is the only reason I wouldn't want DJ on this team (wannabe thug or not). The "Lazy, and Talented" Tees are moxie Tees but still. Says a lot about perceptions of players. Dez looks the part (THUG), DJ yearns for it (Wannabe?)...

That rules him out. period. imo

That splash will be whatever team signs him. The season going down in the water. Not really, but had to say it.
Commanders, Jets, Raiders are teams that are said to be most interested. I'm sure the Chiefs will be linked to him also, since Raid coached him.
