No splash this year, unless you consider your pet cat in the draft actually getting drafted.

Jerry is going to do his usual offseason cannonball into the water. I can feel it.

Reportedly, 2 teams, both left off of earlier reports as being interested in Desean are in deep negotiations with his agent right now.

My gut tells me this is gonna happen.

My gut is big, blubbery, and often tricks my mind into saying i'm hungry when i'm not, so we'll see.

I certainly hope not. But it wouldn't surprise me in the least bit. Jerry's an idiot when it comes to football decisions.

Would be fine with it. And we certainly have the room.

Not going to happen.

Dez is the only reason I wouldn't want DJ on this team (wannabe thug or not). The "Lazy, and Talented" Tees are moxie Tees but still. Says a lot about perceptions of players. Dez looks the part (THUG), DJ yearns for it (Wannabe?)...

Exactly... I don't mind talent, but this is a situation ready to explode, especially as it concerns the media. When Dez blew up on the sidelines this year, he was being ostracized by the media. They'd make it even worse with DJ and Dallas doesn't need the situation concerning where they are at.

I would instantly burn every article of Cowboys gear I have if we signed a thug like Dcrip.

even if he was team player we dont have a QB that can throw a deep ball. Romo cant chuck it deep enough to warrant a one dimensional speed WR no matter who it is.

It's just gas in your gut.

It would be the worst signing long term for the cowboys in the jerry jones era..... And yes that covers a lot of debacles

I don't know if this is truth or fiction. But what i do know is this.

There will be a great number of people saying no now, then after the first two touchdown game from DJax, will be silent. Then when Dallas has a deep threat that opens up Dez and TWill, which trickles down to Murray, the fans here will go nuts.

Then when DJax whines, there will be a bunch of I told you so.

And after he leaves, just like TO, people will claim it was a bad idea.

TO was a major reason this team won. Tony needs a speedy receiver that can scare a defense.

I'm indifferent on this guy now that the gang thing has been put to bed.

But if by some chance he does come here, I suspect he will shut up the doubters for a while.

I'd be excited just to see that kind of speed in this offense but I doubt it would happen. There are too many teams interested.

I thought you were a trenches guy, Risen? The resources spent to sign this kid would seriously hamper our ability to bolster the lines over the next couple of years. Let him go t the Raiders where the money flows.
