That is the way it should be. Zeke was a warrior that did all he was asked to do and never complained (except for holding out, and looks like he was right to do so as the end comes quick).

Guy was a team player and clearly made the team better. It was time, and it is the sad part of the business of football. But it happens to EVERYONE at some point.

I wish him luck.

Any sense that his market might be so limited that re-signing him remains an option?
It never does though. These guys always get one last hoorah…and it’s going to be ok because he’s not gonna cost 15 million.

I think his days as a Cowboy are over. He won’t be back even if available. Just based on how this stuff typically goes.

I’ve voiced my thoughts on Zeke many times over needing to be let go and I’d also have to alphabetize the list of issues I have with Jerry. The farewell is all class regardless of who wrote it. I know the owner endorsed it if not wrote some or all of it. Well said JJ.
