Jerry Jones’ Statement on Zeke Release

Do you think he and Pollard are the same player??
Oh no. Tony Pollard has jets that Miles Sanders does not. Sanders can power through more clogged holes than Pollard could but Pollard still holds the edge for penetrating a clean gap in the line a tenth of a second quicker.

Normally I wouldn’t offer friendly advice to Jerry Jones for obvious reasons, but why not? He is sad today.

Jerry….stop getting emotionally attached to anyone that plays the running back position.

Oh wow gotcha nice break down

Any sense that his market might be so limited that re-signing him remains an option?
One of the first thoughts that occurred to me as well.

Of course I don’t know what Zeke is thinking, but logically speaking I could see him trying to come back if the offers he gets from other teams are equal to or not much greater than whatever Dallas would be willing to pay him.
I get the feeling he enjoys being in Dallas, and having a presence in that community.

Depending on how the draft shakes out and pollards recovery, I could absolutely see them bringing him back during the season

and if that does not happen:

If Elliott is not on an NFL roster at the start of the 2023 season -
Cowboys should choose a home date in September or October - and ask Elliott would you like to come back and be feted the week before leading up, and during that game.
