They offered him a reworked deal and he refused it. He’s either delusional in thinking he’ll get a good offer elsewhere or he’s just ready to move on.
You’re so anti I can’t even tell if you like the Cowboys or not at times lol. Maybe it’s just anti-Dak lol. Why? I've always been a Zeke fan.
I can see wanting to go elsewhere. Because to me it seemed clear that RB is a big possibility in the draft…. They wanted him to take a pay cut and his snaps were gonna go down and hurt his value. They offered him a reworked deal and he refused it. He’s either delusional in thinking he’ll get a good offer elsewhere or he’s just ready to move on.
This explains a lot. You aren't even paying attention. You’re so anti I can’t even tell if you like the Cowboys or not at times lol. Maybe it’s just anti-Dak lol.
Wasn't that because Tony Romo was retiring?Well, Jones decided to have someone type up something this time and send out a press release instead ofmakingallowing the player to do it like Tony Romo publicly back in November 2016.
I'm an alien. This explains a lot. You aren't even paying attention.
I can't even tell if you're an adult at times. lol
Why? He's not being let go because he can't play. He's being let go because he costs too much. There is a sober assessment of every player to be had, and if any given player can be had at a right price, you put that on your list of options. It's just how it works. I don't make the rules. I just know what the rules are, and I don't pretend they don't exist.WHY? we need to learn to let go.
Yep. He gets low offers and resigns. We still have to pay him 6 million or so I think. So maybe it’s a plan. Unless his crappy agent has a plan.Any sense that his market might be so limited that re-signing him remains an option?
I don't see that at all, noticed there was no mention of a pay cut. Tells me both parties agreed it's time to move on. But keep an eye on the Bucs and/or Chargers.Any sense that his market might be so limited that re-signing him remains an option?
He won’t retire. He likely left knowing he will get paid his money and JJ will give him a new 4 million one year deal if he can’t get more. I think JJ still wants him. He protects Dak as much as a LT. What happens the first time Dak gets smeared because Pollard misses a block. To a 1 day deal to RETIRE AS A COWBOY!!
We knew they were going to ask him to take a serious pay cut. His agent set him up for some of this by having him hold out 2 years early on his deal. JJ likely said if you can’t get more he will give him 3-5 million on top of what he is getting anyways. Isn’t he still getting paid 6 or so. Or is all his guaranteed money paid. We have dead money.I don't see that at all, noticed there was no mention of a pay cut. Tells me both parties agreed it's time to move on. But keep an eye on the Bucs and/or Chargers.
He should make a fortune in relaxer commercials alone…..or pitching a weave with an asymmetric bob in it.League minimum on June 2nd! He'll make much more in endorsements.
That’s the nature of the business……always strive to get better regardless of nostalgia some fans have for players that no longer produceBye, time to get quicker on offense!
Lol you know it wasn’t JerryThat was a good statement, but you do wonder if it was written for Jerry. That was the most coherent statement I've ever read from him. lol
So Zeke held out with 2 years left on the current contract - please tell me you don't think he did that for the team. Zeke is NOT a team player, he's an individual who was only focused on his own gains. He is the epitome of greed. Greedy people like Zeke will never be team players. That is the way it should be. Zeke was a warrior that did all he was asked to do and never complained (except for holding out, and looks like he was right to do so as the end comes quick).
Guy was a team player and clearly made the team better. It was time, and it is the sad part of the business of football. But it happens to EVERYONE at some point.
I wish him luck.
Thats not the sign of a team player, not one bit.....They offered him a reworked deal and he refused it. He’s either delusional in thinking he’ll get a good offer elsewhere or he’s just ready to move on.
None so blind that will not see. Football is a business and Zeke treated NEGOTIATIONS that waySo Zeke held out with 2 years left on the current contract - please tell me you don't think he did that for the team.
