No, Jerry, we go as the OLine goes.

Manalive, this canker still doesn't get it.
Ok please advise besides that 1 playoff win and a couple of div titles in the doggy NFC East where has this offline (Non-playmakers) taken us??
Was I in a coma folks, did I miss Superbowl # 6?
Did we just lose in overtime in the NFCCG?????
:muttley:
Just tell the world the truth.....as we have a tier 3 QB who needs tons of time for a WR/TE to open before he throws the ball the wall of China is required!!!
Playmakers win Superbowls (you know like Irvin) not expensive highly drafted offline man!!!

P.S. Was that Joe Burrows in last year's SB?
Didn't his offline stink it up?
WOW .....:omg:

Please don't put in the same sentence a 3 time-winning Superbowl QB with Prescott.....dang simply insults the game of football!!!!
I know you feel bad that our owner told the world how little faith he has in his 160 million $ QB esp in today's passing league NFL........but when the performance and results are not what's been paid for well you get the idea.....then again maybe you don't? :muttley:
Your Complaints to Jerry......;)....

1st off I don't care what you think, so I will say what I damn well please. Object is to win and if Dallas is running the ball and throwing less and it leads to winning that is what I care about winning. Not QB stats or any other non sense it is all about winning. We took a major hit at OT and we have 1 WR who has a receiving TD in a regular season game to start the season. So yeah I think Dallas will lean a lot of the running game, especially early on and I expect to see Zeke getting the lion share of the carries. This has nothing to do with faith it has to do with finding ways to win ball games. I expect Dak will have a very good season but I do think given the circumstances that the run game will be relied on quite a bit

Not me.
I wore it during the 3-13 & 1-15 seasons, and I still wear it now.
NEVER be ashamed to show you are a Dallas fan.
I felt better about the 1 and 15 team as you could see it was going in the right direction with Jimmy and the Walker trade.
Now we are a rudderless mess going on 28 years without a NFCC appearance.
The Team is now a cash cow for Jerry and family and I am beyond tired of it.

It’s a shame cause there is some talent here. But this is a FO who can never get that over the hump.

That was the 90s. Wish you folks would stop comparing it to the modern game.

RBs aren't as valuable anymore and you don't win Super Bowls because of them.

So by Jerry's logic, the run game should be the focal point... then why have you voluntarily and intentionally downgraded the quality of your line and committed zero resources to the backup tackle positions?

We go as Zeke goes, not as the OL goes. It's a one-man show.

Well Jerry, the moves you made after giving Zeke his contract say otherwise.

Just because teams choose not to doesn't mean teams CAN'T build around the running game and defense to win Super Bowls with "just okay" play from the QB. .. The Steelers did it with Ruthlessraper .. The Ravens did it as did the Bucs.. The Giants definitely did it with Eli. The style of play is a choice largely driven by all these ex-QB talking heads repeating the same nonsense (It's a QB driven league) over and over to the point where everybody buys it. That and the idiot fantasy football crowd that needs to see 44-41 games to feel entertained. I guarantee you that you could put and elite QB on the Titans and they could win a title.. They have a good enough defense and if Tannehill just makes a few plays they're probably in the Super Bowl last year. The 90's Cowboys, Bills, and Niners would run this "modern" NFL.. because all three had great defense, great rushing attacks and great QBs. And they wouldn't have to pass 50 times a game to do it. GMs don't WANT to build that kind of team .. but if they did.. they might run off 4-5 championships in a row before the guys wore down from playing 20 games a season.
