I was thinking the same thing but Odell aint coming here

He wants to be paid, and this front-office will low-ball him when there are suitors out there for him
To me if you sign him, you do a 2 year deal. I dont know when or how much he will be relevant this year. Thats always been my issue with Beckham this year. But a 2 year deal, he gets some money and we get a player. If they actually were in on Cooks, maybe they are willing to spend enough $ to get Beckham to come in. That Cooks report seemed dubious though

He is just drooling at all the Cowboy fan idiots who would buy a OBJ Jersey.

That is all that's important to these two frauds.

If that was true why wouldn’t we have signed him Iong ago. Doesn’t it get exhausting lamenting everything the organization does. We have a great team. Enjoy it.

I think they keep OBJ in their back-pocket as a fall back if they can’t get a trade they like.

And if you think he’s a locker room cancer you’re out of date. Rarely if ever does the media completely stop that narrative once they’ve started with it. In Odell’s case, that hasn’t been a narrative for him in a few years.

Even when he left Cleveland the sentiment out of the organization was disdain with Baker (as many have since expressed), not Odell. IF he can still play at the level he did last year, I’d love to have him for the stretch run.

More Jerry speak I’ll believe it when I see it. Beckham is a pick up for next year he won’t help that much this year I don’t believe

maybe just the threat of him on the field opens things up for the others who knows

Washington due to return

I wouldn’t be against taking him on a short term deal till the end of the season when he’s fit…
Yes he had a falling out in New York, but there were no complaints about his attitude and desire last season in Los Angeles… and yes I’m going to completely ignore Cleveland because he obviously never wanted to go there and was sent there by the Giants out of spite as much as anything.

i forget who I was listening to yesterday but they said the same thing and that he had showed maturity last year in LA before the injury. Also said he does beat as the number 3 receiver with no pressure on him.

It ceedee is 1, gallop is 2 and this guy fit as 3 is it possible he might not be a head case and could help?

I’m skeptical but who knows

Yes I think we’d all be sceptical, but on a short term deal for the last few games of the season plus the playoffs, then I think it makes sense… and having CD, Gallup and OBJ lining up would be a very formidable trio.

It’s humorous to me how angry so many fans got at Jerry for talking about trades, then not doing a big one outside of Hankins (which may be underrated btw), then quoting his comment on OBJ thinking he may be ready to move on that.

When Jerry talks….it just means he like to talk.

Just read he won’t be ready until at least Thanksgiving

yeah I saw the same…he would be a playoff assset if he is brought in.

I worry about him disrupting the team chemistry though if they are clicking at that point.

now if ceedee goes down then it’s a different story

Played well with the Rams.

I keep thinking about the game against Cleveland where Odell destroyed the Dallas D. I think he had 3 TDs. I know he’s not the same guy but I think he has something left and he would be an asset. As far as the off-field stuff, by all accounts his teammates have always loved him. With the exception of Mayfield

Honestly OBJ is the best option if you want to strengthen the team, it is what is required for the cowboys to be in the spotlight again. and it must be recognized that he is a very good WR and better than anyone who has been mentioned as an option via transfer, and reflecting, if the cowboys were negotiating for Brandin Cook, that he was going to cost a second round and carry a salary of more than 18M per year, why not go for OBJ and offer him a 3 year deal 15M per year?
If they cut Zeke next year he would have enough money to have OBJ for a few years, and with this have the WR # 1 and the real threat that is required, I think OBJ is the piece that Dallas needs to have a dominant offense, there is no other WR that can give that option. this would be a TO type movement.
