I loved C-Mikes only carry. All week they label him with goal line/short yardage/dirty yards guy. You think the Saints weren't aware of what was going to happen the second that he got in on 3rd and 1. Not to make anything easier they ran the SAME EXACT play that failed either the play before or two plays prior with the WR in motion. I would also say its one of our favorite running plays from last season too so it was so predictable. Whatever happened to a pitch play with a guard or two pulling? Emmitt used to break those 3rd and shorts all the time for long runs on a pitch.

Jerry must have meant he's from the fifth dimension and appears on the field incidentally.

Thats the playbook issue, we have same plays that other teams know too well , especially ryan and teams we play a lot.
they need some new plays that teams dont have memorized.
And that was bizarre to have cm come in for that one play and it was 3rd and 1 !
a good play there would be to make a good fake hand off going to the left and then throw short pass to witten on the right.

Last year this team was a run first team...smash mouth ...control the clock team. This year it's all about the dink an dunk passing game.. They changed their identity from game one. IMO they should of built on what worked and dominated their space instead the changed their identity. This 2015 team has been confused about their identity from day 1.

Single back with the defense crowding the LOS and they expected him to get a 1st down?:lmao2: Seriously though that was a dumb play and i don't know why they thought it was going to work.

Especially since they ran the exact play two downs prior to that.

Obvious run down and same presnap look.

Excuse me isn't that exactly the kind of play the Cowboys OL and Murray converted on time after time last season?

This team has invested a king's ransom into 1st round pick OL. Is it unreasonable that the coaching staff wants to lean on them?

Probably the most frustrating play of the game...and that's saying something.

They never had him lined up 5yds behind the LOS with no extra blocker, it was basically Christine vs Everybody on that play.

Yeah next time he is in they might as well take the other ten guys off the field....

We have a 10 play offensive playbook.

How you feeling now?

More concerned about the injuries than falling to 2-2. Hard to win any game in this league when you are not only without your star QB and star WR but contributors are falling like flies as well. Frankly, this is shaping up to be one of those seasons where injuries derail us, and that's very disappointing.

Glad we get Hardy and Rolando back. Maybe they can bolster the defense enough that we can steal a few wins instead of Romo needing to win out when he comes back. But I still think it's likely we go 2-5 or 2-6 without him and need to win the final six to make the playoffs.

Cowboys only have 1 run play on their playbook..Jerry Jones called the coaches and asked them to shake it up, so Garrett looked at his playbook from 2009 and called a pitch.

Exactly what I was thinking.

He seemed to provide the same dimension our other backs provide when given absolutely no blocking up front: went down and went down hard.
