Stephen said the exact same thing yesterday. Why are people surprised or mad or even reacting to what Jerry is saying?

Tea leaves been there

Sunday - "Sources... They're going to look internal"
Monday - Stephen... Gonna look internal. No trades. People aren't giving up their talent yet.
Tuesday - Jerry.. Gonna look internal and other PS rosters...
Because it's angering each time we hear the same drivel from a Jones Boy!

Yeah well no one is looking to part with a legit D lineman either. It's too early in the season to get a deal like that.

The Joneses made it clear before the season ever started they were going to sink or swim with younger players. They’re using this season to see what they have with these players. They’re going cheap. The only outside players they’ll sign are off practice squads and players that are unemployed.

If you have a dumpster fire why would you call in more firemen. Just let it sort itself out, and if the dumpster burns to the ground roll in a new one next year.

Paying firemen wages to watch something burn up is a waste of resources.

They have no choice, but to now watch the consequences of their decisions and go from there.

Maybe this team turns it around, or maybe it burns to the ground. Rigth now the best course of action is to wait and see.

Turning out that this would have been the perfect year to trade dak and ceedee for a mother load of pics which this team needs desperately! I would bring up Lance but he seems to upset quits a few!
No one was going to take Dak in trade. He would have had to waive the no trade clause, and even if he did, nobody but the JonesBoys would have been stupid enough to give him that all time contract.

Jerry has historically overvalued the talent on the team and this year is no exception. I don’t remember the year, but Dallas had something like 12 draft picks when Wade was coaching and they selected a bunch of what essentially amounted to back-ups and special teams players given their contention that they had a Super Bowl roster; therefore, it stands to reason that in his mind Jerry can mitigate the losses of two, top defensive playmakers from within the team. As flawed as that thinking is; Jerry’s ego would never allow him to admit that this team is less talented than last year’s team due mostly to his lack of player acquisition during the offseason save for the next-to-last day, making a $240MM mistake with Prescott.

It's week 4. Any trades will be out of desperation, making it a sellers market.
Outside of the Reddick holdout, not like there's too many publicly good players looking for a trade.

lol……we love our “future” guys. Why does it feel like Jerry is constantly trying to fix the error in judgement of not drafting Randy moss.
