I disagree.

The rebuild needs to happen now. We are not contenders at the moment.

But we will be rebuilding around the Jones model of NFL ownership. Do you think Jerry will grant the full measure of power the other 31 teams give their head coaches? We know the answer, it's business as usual so IMO name a great hc and he won't get us to the conf finals game because Jerry will undermine their authority, micromanage them to death, and continue his press conferences and radio and tv interviews all of which undermine the authority of his "head coach". Jerry is the only common denominator over the past 29 seasons and he doesn't want to win bad enough to step aside and stop making football decisions. But then again, all fans know this. Business as usual produces the same subpar playoff results we've seen for almost 30 years and it really doesn't matter who the hc is. A great regular season is the ceiling under the Jones model.

Everything is predicated on Jerry Jones and that will hinder us going forward. It really is that simple.

Two new scapegoats…. McCarthy and Quinn.. last year it was Moore….

When your offense is predicated on a QB that can only stare down 1 WR by the name of CeeDee Lamb and playing bum secondaries, then it’s going to eventually suck when you got to play from behind and a decent team…

What do you think McCarthy could have done? They already saw this offense “pre” run everything through CeeDee with Dak at QB. They couldn’t find the end zone, but they had a FG kicker that could fire it dead center 60 yards out.

I know. Never in my wildest dreams/nightmares would I have figured a new owner with no football skills would insist on micromanaging all the football experts he hires in the face of the worst 28+ year playoff streak of missing conf championship game. I never would have believed this nightmare scenario could happen but here we are.
