Belichick is not the answer. His last 2 years in New England should prove that. Maybe he can take the DC job from Quinn but I would not let him take the reigns over Dallas. But at least he will not draft any stupid players or tolerate stupidity on the field.

I have 0 faith in the Jones’s to do that.

Getting rid of Dak opens up a lot of cap flexibility but I fully expect them to pay Dak like he just won the Super Bowl.
They will wait for the stink and soreness to subside.

BB is not the answer. Dude should be in an elderly home and not coach. Game has passed him years ago. Brady overshadowed that for a long time.

We need to get a young creative mind that so many came into the league recently and had success.

Jim Harbaugh wont be the solution either

We need toughness and an overhaul of culture. We scored points all year and where did it get us? Not worried about creative minds, its just show.

To quote Nick Fury from the Avengers movie, "but we are hopelessly, hilariously outgunned"

I can make my peace with a team that is re-building, with a team that is missing key components, but I find it hard to tolerate a team that is so seemingly ill-prepared and outgunned.

If there is a change in coaching, I hope they find some that is noted for their meticulous, OCD-like gaming planning and preparation.

A culture exorcism is required.

Not sure a 72 year old Belichek is the guy

Get me Jim Harbaugh
Agree. I don’t like either but if we are choosing do you want another retread past retirement age who’s never won anything without a hof QB? Or a guy who took Kapernick to a SB?
BB is also likely to bail the minute he gets his 15 wins.

Belichick is the perfect coach.

We have a vet team and you can bet he has something to prove to people who think it was “Brady”.

Give me a motivated Belichick please. No brainer.
It was Brady!

It probably won't happen.

I'd take Belichick or Harbaugh, though. Anyone who can bring some discipline to this team.
Or Vrabel. Someone who's mentally strong and can instill energy and discipline into the team. Right now we have a team with talented players who are mental midgets.

Man IDK, if it was a younger Belichick...heck yeah...but at 72yrs old...does he still have it...it's a gamble....I kinda like Mike Vabrel....a Belichick clone ...with a hard nose attitude

Yeah, the guy that took about ten years or so to win a Natty and had to cheat his azz off to do it. He was suspended 6 games this season. Then again, Bellicheat isn't much different.
You're right

Maybe Mary Poppins is available

They're busy making excuses for a blow out loss while we're busy discussing ways this team could maybe get over the hump.
No excuses from me, but I don't care for fans that are gloating with the I told you so crap. It's like they are happy we lost. Dak was horrible, CeeDee was a diva, Defense played horrible, MM and Quinn called a stupid game and didn't have them ready to play.

The thing about Belichick is he got fired for failing as GM, not head coach. He kept overruling his scouts and player personnel folks to take offensive scrubs that busted over and over, and by 2023 the Pats had arguably the least talented offense in football.

Worse, he could never admit he was wrong, even privately, so he stayed dictator over personnel right to the bitter end.

Belichick could come to Dallas and be a coaching upgrade, especially on defense. There's enough offensive talent already, so maybe that's OK in the short term, and he can get the maximum out of the defense. But either he gives up on being GM and you didn't fix the biggest problem the Cowboys have, or he takes over as GM, and you've traded one kind of personnel failure for another.

Yeah.

Some of us knew that was going to happen and was vocal about it all season. That's not gloating. That's just being aware.
