Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan said he's not ruling out a contract extension for head coach Mike McCarthy.

"I don't think that's crazy at all. This is a Super Bowl-winning coach. Mike McCarthy has been there and done that. He has great ideas. We got a lot of football left."

Stuck with #4, Jerry has to sell some change to what remains of his fan base. I can't imagine him not changing coaching staffs and talking that up all off-season.

What other options does he have? From a cap standpoint, don't think they can energize the fans by being active in FA.

Jerry is planning on buying McCarthy's house and then selling it back for a profit after he extends him. It's how Jerry plans to pay for his coach's next contract.
