I'm truly surprised he hasn't had a helicopter in the past(based off comments in this thread).

Some classy posts in this thread by a certain member.

Great point.

He should probably not live in a big house either. He should sell that and live in a trailer near Frisco. Use that money to build more houses for vets and those less fortunate. And forget the Mercedes' and other cars he has. He should sell them and grab a bunch of Fiats.

You know, he should probably sell the Cowboys and with those billions he could build a thousands of homes for vets.

I have a better idea for you. How's this sound?
Instead of living in the trailer near frisco he should buy the trailer park. Evict all the residents. Turn the land into a park where he can have a giant statue of himself built. Double the ticket prices and parking fees to the stadium and tell people the fee is also covering admission into the new park bearing his statue.
Good idea about selling the Mercedes' but we differ on the fiats. Fiat makes some cars in America and some plants may hire Vets. Instead he should buy Volvo S60 so he can boost up the Chinese auto manufacturing business while reminding the American labor unions that they need to stop demanding fair pay and safe working conditions or their jobs will be moved to China.

I am also surprised some people here haven't gotten on him for buying a helicopter made by a foreign company (although Airbus Helicopters has a factory in the US).

LOL.

It's always funny watching people rant that have such bitterness towards rich people.

It's up to you to make whatever decisions you want with your money.
Just as no one should tell you how to spend it, you also shouldn't tell people how excessive displays of wealth makes them feel.

Jerry has a foundation that does a lot of good things for many people. He should get credit for this.

But when you see so many people struggling to make ends meet, 50 million people living in poverty, ect..you should expect some people to think about all the good that the money could have done for so many.

Should we be condeming the people who feel uneasy with the excess displays of wealth or should we be questioning ourselves if we don't feel uncomfortable with this when so many are suffering around us.
Just a thought.

yes we are free to our own thoughts and opinions. I respect that you think his spending is excessive and obnoxious. I personally don't think it is. The man's net worth is over 5 billion dollars. He spent .16% of his worth on a mode of transportation. if that is excessive, i see many excessive people on the road each day. It is all relative in comparison. I don't fault a celebrity making millions for buying a 500,000 car when i see people who make like 50,000 buying cars almost or more than their salary.

I thought you would enjoy that one.
No bitterness towards rich people. More bitterness towards the general lack of empathy we show each other every day. Disappointing to see wealth worship become the norm instead of the exception. I am not as good as some people at ignoring the reality of social and economic injustice. Its hard to watch 25k people die every year because they cant afford to see a doctor or hear about Chicago having its 500th shooting victim and not pretend that poverty, lack of opportunity, and economic injustice doesn't matter anymore.

I am a supporter of Jerry Jones. I think he actually cares for people more than most.
But I still see a shiny new $8 million dollar toy and cant help but think of the less fortunate.

That's my rant.
Some will say I have no right to voice it....But I just did anyway.

Wealth worship?

You should take yourself less seriously.

The more money Jerry makes, the more he gives away. He is known to be very generous, but does not advertise it .

The helicopter is a tool to improve his efficiency. He will also likely use it when making business deals. When CEOs from companies like Ford and AT&T are considering spending more money, he will likely use it to transport them back forth between the Star and AT&T Stadium.

Jerry could have built his headquarters next to AT&T stadium but will make more by building in Frisco. The difference probably easily pays for the helicopter.

i really don't worry that jerry has a new helicopter its his money to spend as he wants lots of rich men travel that way so its not like its new thing not going to bash him for this I just wish he would hire someone to run the cowboys that could maybe get the right players and coaches to help them win a superbowl

The concept confuses you?

Yea I guess having a thought that goes a little beyond the surface is just being too serious.
Thanks for the tips though. :)

Man traffic is bad up there. Highland park to north Frisco, yuck. That's 1.5 hours in traffic, I'd get a helicopter too. Just makes sense. Jerry prolly makes 10,000-20,000 an hour, so sitting in traffic for 2-3 is losing money. It also would make no sense for Jerry to spend 10 hours a week on home maintenance, yard work, and cleaning. $$$

Oh there's nothing wrong with owning a Mercedes, bmw, Porsche, Audi ect.
That's how we rollzzzzz

Wait...Is this real?
Do people really shoot pigs out of helicopters?
Do people really shoot pigs at all?
I'm from the northeast and the worst you see is some redneck spraying deer urine all over himself in hopes of killing bambi's mom.
