Jerry rightfully deserves a lot of criticism but I do believe he would do anything to get one more super bowl. I'll never criticize him wanting this team to win.

It is like asking a mental deficient to try to assemble a combustion engine.

I guess it is charming they want to and try really hard jamming things together.

Jerry is right about something.
This league has been carefully designed and crafted to have everyone at .500
Very few teams have found a long term winning formula and that team is known as the biggest group of cheaters in professional sports history.

It still sucks that worst to first and first to worst is so so common in football.

Well I stand by it. He's stubborn, yes, but he would pay anything for success of the salary cap didn't limit what he can do.

Totally agree. If its one thing about Jerry he is very passionate for winning and his wallet would be wide open if there were no salary cap.

Great attitude to have especially as a business man still being able to make billions with an average product. His business model should be studied at Harvard.

If he bought any other franchise, they'd be in the dumps. The Cowboys were there before Jerry and didn't need him for visibility and love..

He is just stubborn and wants to do it his way.

Many people WANT to do the right thing, but let their EGO get in the way. There is nothing praiseworthy on Jerry's attitude. That's arrogance..

So basically he's blaming his failure on the way the league was designed. Yet, Wade Phillips wasn't afforded that excuse and was far above .500 in his tenure, with 3 winning seasons..

And if the league is designed for .500 than that makes Garrett dispensable. Why did you offer him 25 million than for 5 years?

Talk about delusional..

You know what .500 also is.. One season you make the playoffs, the next season you don't and so on..

The league was designed for parity, not consistently not making the playoffs at a cumulative record approaching .500..

Just sell the team..

He is still fixated on New England.

It is not like they have won every Super Bowl in that time frame.

Even organizations like SF have burned to the ground, been rebuilt and burned back to the ground during that 20 year time span.

SF hasn't been just one player away from the ********** like Dallas has been.

The league is designed for parity and .500 football keeps you relevant.

Jones should admit how awesome that is for his business.

And CBS, with it's ties to Kraft, is laughing at Jerry's tenure here with that picture they just posted.. That's the irony...

They were better than us this year with just as much turmoil.. They benched their starting QB, who was a scrub, and still won games.. Oh.. And they lost their HC last year and had a bunch of their roster retire or leave..

Jones runs the team on whims. Maybe he's fixated on New England right now, but he'll zone in something else in a year. Let's not forget the freakout that led to the Kiffin fiasco. The Cowboys got blown up by a Bears team that wasn't even any good and Jones decided the Cowboys needed they need to change defensive schemes because of them and Seattle. I still can't believe that happened.
