Jerry Jones isn't worried about what has been said about Tony Romo'scareer in the past. What the Cowboys owner and general manager is currently seeing from Romo is as good as any quarterback in the league.

Whether it's analyzing defenses or making the big throws like Romo showcased in Sunday night's come-from-behind victory over the Giants, Jones says he wouldn't take anyone over his franchise QB.

As Jones has said many times, if the Cowboys are unable to win a Super Bowl with Romo at quarterback, it will be Jones' greatest disappointment as the team's owner.

"Let's not spend a lot of our time talking about the narrative, although we're all aware what you're talking about when you say the narrative," Jones said Friday on 105.3 The Fan's G-Bag Nation show [KRLD-FM]. "Tony is really good. I've said this and I want to restate it, if he should go through a career with the Cowboys and not have knocked on the door one time, I'm going to go as far as to say won a Super Bowl, it would be my biggest disappointment having owned this team.

I can echo this entire sentiment.

All tony had to do is avoid the "goof" then we are winning it all. Twice. Back to back,

You know... Peyton Manning gets the accolades for being so smart at the LOS for picking apart defense for what he sees... And I agree..... But... If Romo ever really figures out the blitz (actually, it's not that he has to figure it out per say... He has to get rid of ball)....

I would call him smarter than Manning at LOS.

(Watching Romo is like watching a boxer execute the "sweet science" of the position)

And avoid the injury bug... I worry about that more than anything.

I've never hoped for a single athlete to win a championship more than I do for Tony Romo.

Although I guess Ray Bourque would be on that list too come to think of it.

Same here. Not just because he is an elite QB, but there has never been a QB in the league that has performed at his level and received the amount of criticism as Romo. It is disgusting how he is portrayed.

He's right, Outside of the usual suspects who else would you take over Romo?

I hope Romo isn't reading into the hype. Just keep even Kiel and keep on grinding. Last thing we need is extra pressure on Romo.
