:) COWBOYS BEEN DRAFTING GREAT..

Passing up on trading up to get Manuluga. Letting Rashad Johnson go by.

And draft Jason Williams of course...

Do yall remember Cowboys drafted Jacobs Rodgers OT USC over Troy Polamalu SS USC? Jerry is great.

Remember Greg Ellis over Randy Moss?

Pass up on Max Gen Giles OG Georgia for Skyler Green.

I really love when the Cowboys pass-up on Shaun Rogers for Tony Dixon. Pass up on Deon Grant for DeWayne Goodrich. lol. Jerry you are great.:lmao2:

Who else loves Jerry and the scouting department? :)

Go whine, you whining whiner. Better yet, get another team.

This is the best we can do. Honestly. And if you don't like 44-6, Wade Phillips, and trading down to pick 5th-7th rounders (Williams, Brewster, McGee) in the 3rd and 4th, then you are rooting for the wrong team.

How 'bout them Cowboys?!?!?!?

We had Roy Williams at the time... chill out. You remember getting the likes of Witten, Scandrick and others in the late rounds?

Yes yes, I'm sure all these pro bowlers we passed on today will come back to bite us. It's great to know so many Cowboys fans are experts because they watch TV.

Rogers was a 2nd round pick, Polamalu was picked at 13th overall (IIRC)

Yes we do. You can't have enough of them imo. Taking a QB in the 4th round is not much of a gamble. If it works out, JJ is a hero. If not, so what.

Really. Jerry Jones needs to stop taking vacations to Amsterdam in the off-season... :lmao2: Let me add another one. Bobby Carpenter over Antonio Cromartie.

Well I said last night I calmed down and would wait and see how the 3rd turned out and I can say I'm not pleased. We didn't get any of the guys we needed, or that would have been worth having, and it appears, at least to me, that Jerry and Co. attempted to get cute and trade down and such thinking they'd just get whoever they wanted in those picks and they havent.

I guess they got their QB they just had to have who is uesless, IMO, cause he isn't going to help us this year or any year soon. So our best pick, thus far, has been to draft a third QB. Wow.

The LB we got...sorry not impressed. The tackle we got? Are you kidding me?

Last night Hos put up some list of 11 players that we would all be thrilled to get at least 2 of those 11 and I don't recall any of these names being part of that list. I could be wrong, I dont recall everyone on it, but I dont remember any of these names being on it.

Sorry folks but while I'm not as upset as i was last night I'm pretty disappointed in this draft because it looks like we've returned to the mid nineties drafting style of thinking we're fine with what we've got and only going for losers who won't make a bit of difference on this team.

Don't worry we have a brand spanking new billion dollar stadium to llok forward too. This draft has been a disaster.

Apparently we do. I don't disagree with the players, don't get me wrong.

But we got to listen to all the draft experts that said Jerry was the smartest strategist of all time for trading down in a panic and losing points, only to now reach (by most draft rankings) for Williams, Brewster, and McGee.

Is McGee better than Bollinger? Is Brewster better than McQ, Free, or Proctor?

It's not apparent.

The strategy for success last year was going after proven players who produced in established college programs. Felix, Jenkins, Bennett, and Choice were all solid picks by those standards.

This is a different model. Maybe it will work.

The draft is about the future. You have to start developing them. Kitna is not the long term future. And look at the luxury the Browns have. They have two QBs and can trade one.

Why would you not draft one with good potential?

I'm so glad fans don't run the draft.
