There's a method to his madness. The quotes get more outrageous as the on-field product struggles.

"He's got that Red Hair and you know Latino men and their hot tempers. They say when your angry, count to 10 but Jason shows patience is a virtue and never to mess with a woman with her hackles up. Got it?"

(Above is my impersonation of a Jerry quote)

He's a mess

What GM would talk about his head coach in his 6th season using these terms? A puppy that is now a dog that is mad inside?

I don't know if it will do any good, but the Romo-less season has really exposed Garrett's ineptitude and Jerry's lunacy on a new level. Hopefully, the press will stop giving these guys a pass and make it increasingly uncomfortable for them to be in public. I think we saw some of that after the Green Bay loss.

Even having romo was exposing Garrett for those with common sense

It took romo and "the best OL in history" and the most productive season by a cowboys RB in franchise history to hide his flaws. This was because Jason has no idea what an adjustment is if it were to hit him in the face. With all those factors present he basically could stick with the game plan without having to make any adjustments so all was hunky dory . It will be back to 8-8 next year and we will start the "rebuilding" process over again

You gotta give it to Jerry for being prescient, the ball has certainly been out with Dez recently.

I don't care what his reactions are. Successful coaches have all types of personalities. I care if he can coach, which he clearly cant.

Just send him packing already and he can demonstrate all sorts of emotions as he walks out the door..

It did not but I wanted to make up my own Jerry quote that sounded like the articles. He just rambles in so many directions

Jerry Jones: Jason Garrett appears civil, but it's a rare redhead who doesn't 'blow up inside'
By Jon Machota , Staff Writer Contact Jon Machota on Twitter: @jonmachota

When high expectations are met with disappointing results, fans want to see emotion from the head coach.

Jason Garrett is very calculated in that department publicly. Behind the scenes, it's a little different.

In only a way that Jerry Jones could explain it, he broke down why the Cowboys head coach keeps his emotions in check during games.

"Well, Jason is a smart guy," the Cowboys owner and general manager said Tuesday morning on 105.3 The Fan's Shan and RJ show [KRLD-FM]. "He knows that if it's a sideline, he knows that those cameras are zeroed in on him. He's not about to fall where he is conscious, and he's conscious of everything out there, make no mistake about it.

"And you see very few redheads that aren't about to blow up inside when somebody is not doing right. And, so, it's all there. It's all there in a big way. And he will bite. You know the old adage, I don't know if he's going to get it done or not. Well, I've seen him bite as a puppy, and if they'll do that, they'll bite as a dog. He'll bite.

All this and he is comfortable with ambiguity. Right Kinda Coach (for Jerry Jones).

To me it seems that Jerry thinks this is the biggest criticism of red that we have so to combat that when he is retained this off season he floats out there that he is a fiery live wire behind closed doors when actually Jerry we think he simply can't coach.
