Because I said "nad" instead of and?

It was just a typo.

You just stated that the coaching staff should start taking coaching direction from Jerry Jones.

The man is right in this case.

So in the case of a team like the Saints, Parcells and Zimmer should of been smart enough to have Newman and Henry man up on the WRs, to protect Roy's inability to cover, and instead have James, Ayodele or ALS try to cover Bush on the short stuff instead of the quicker CBs?
Do you suppose thats what they may have been thinking?

I've felt for a long while now that Zimmer doesn't put players in the best position for them to succeed.

Glad to see that Jerry sees it and is letting it be known because someone who Jerry doesn't think is doing their job doesn't have that job for very long.

I would have rathered that the coaches tried something against the Saints instead of sticking with something that clearly wasn't working.

We lost to the Saints because of our inability to pass rush AND the fact RW and KD were put in situations trying to cover the WRs downfield (defensively that is, offense we gave up the running game).

Anyway, I am speaking for the season, not just 1 game against the Saints.

Our gameplan vs. the Colts was perfect and should be done 99% of the time.

Please re-read my longer post, I will not repeat myself.

"there are not 9 safeties better than RW, please be realistic"

Ok, homer - Polamalu, A. Wilson, Milloy, Sharper at strong safety are better all around and at free- Reed, Sanders, Dawkins, Williams.

Quite possible the dumbest post I've ever read.

This person makes my ignore list just cuz of this post.

Jerry's statement is sooo vague it could apply to just about anyone.:starspin

Thank you Rack.

I was thinking of making him the 1st on my list.

No matter how we try to sugar coat it, Roy must be better in coverage. It is part of a safeties job, I don't care if he is good in the run game, I would rather have a front 7 that is good at that so we don't have to put 8 men in the box.

Roy has been burnt time and time again for various reasons we want to use as a crutch for him. It is time for him to step his game up in coverage. Give me a safety that can cover and a front seven that can stop the run, and I will take that any day of the week over a "run stopping" safety.

I have seen him screw up for too long, and until I see a difference, there is no reason to get off Roy.

I know this is hard for people like you, but the problem is the pass rush, not the secondary

we give QB's entirely too much time...if you have a defense that gets in QB's faces and knocks them down, probably over half the bad plays that we've seen this yr wouldnt have happened

this teams pass rush is one of the worst I have ever seen

I'm starting to feel you on this. The trouble is, our team has only one legitimate pass rusher (Ware), who we rarely tell to just "go get him!" When we do, that's easy to handle because he is our ONLY threat to get pressure with Ellis gone. We rarely blitz Roy any longer, and he is probably our best blitzer - instead, we blitz James, who is dreadful at it, and can be avoided easily. I don't really know how often we bring Ayodele, but his strength was supposedly rushing downhill, and I have rarely seen that. Noone in the front three, except sometimes Fergy, generates any push by themselves. It's a combination of lack of execution, and maybe talent, particularly up front, and our coaches using their pieces poorly.

A couple of weeks ago they talked about how either Haley or Sparano's game plans had parts in each game where a different player was the focus, plays were called to make them successful. We need someone like that coaching on D, as well.
