Jerry Jones mentioned multiple times on 1053thefan this morning that they are working out a wide receiver today

If you fix the O-line and the running game, receivers will get open more consistently. Basic football. We can't have superstars at every position. Replace Steel and get a bruiser RB. Even if we did need a WR, some guys here have been saying that for a couple of months. The time to look was BEFORE the trade deadline, not after.
Receivers are open.

Receivers are open.
Yes, but usually ones that are later in the progression and the O-line didn't protect long enough for Dak (who admittedly goes through reads slower than he should) to see them. Steele was a revolving door.

Plenty of QBs win that game. Plenty of QBs can see these open receivers. Maybe we need to face the fact that it isn't the receivers who are the problem.

On the 4th down Red Zone incompletion to the tight end...Cooks was wide open in the end zone on the other side of the ball.

Freaking JJ! They don't need a stinking receiver, they need a big running back. Cut the little dude and get someone on the team that can actually contribute!
yea, i love pollard but he's proving to be that change of pace back, not every down.

any RB's getting reinstated anytime soon?

I have no clue? I guess they just roll with what the team is. I guess that little Dices(sp) running back will do the trick.

The QB was not seeing that...there is his problem at times...his focus pockus is off.

I don't get with the Cowboys and project players... Hasn't played an NFL game in 5 years. Before that he was suspended for the 2016 season.

Plenty of those QB's have no-names that step up as well. I've been very critical of Dak lately. Did he play perfect? No. Was he the reason they lost? no. He didn't allow the Eagles to put 28 on the board. He wasn't missing assigned blocks. He wasn't dropping passes. It was a team loss. Yes, he often chokes in big moments (See the 49ers playoff game, or even against the 49ers in the regular season) This game was he to blame? No.
