i still have the flu so bear with me with some of my typing

good morning, fine today, would have been better if we had beaten san diego

look at folk this week and see how he kicks and look at what our options are and go from there

thats not necessarly so on kickers not out there, but we have a kicker on board as well

on kicker psychie, i dont know, but we only practice one, dont know why, and most teams dont carrry 2 kickers, because u mght have someone looking over your shoulders in case

december issue; we havent won last 2 games would be trite, but we have a team that matches up real well to n o. jerry spin here,

again, that ball is not even, its oblong nad indicitive of what football is, wished we had them here, but we dont so we play them there, i like alot some matchups we have, etc,

ive always thought big games are things that can turn the tide

3d screen focus maybe take off play of game; yeah we planned to do a series of that, and thing we can do with the technology, of relative to the ballgame, what this board can do compared to football, from standpoint with involving technology to our fans, what im gonig to do with us being imaginative towards our fans in coming years

im aware of when we were there at the 1 yard line stewing in tongue cheek so to speak, we couldnt get it in

talked about having more concerts at cowboys stadium

on barber not punching it in, we tried 3 different blocking schemes on the goal line, you can take exceptioin to the way we tried to block but not the way barber ran, i can second guess way our linemen blocked, but not on barber running

if i had to do it again instead of taking FG i would have run the ball

in general, you have a better chance of scoring, with us misisng some FGs, but gives you something we can work on, with us getting yards but not points, always been reluctant to give big money to a kicker while i had mentality of letting us get TDs not FGs;

if cowboys missed playoffs question, i dont want to get into that right now, id rather think positive

policy on stadium to stand and cheer issue; lets be courteous to each other, we have no policy on people standing and hollering

we want it extremely loud when they have the ball and when we have the ball we want us to be quiet,

i did see felix inthere alot and explosive, and unique vision, while marion has the ball the damage he does, fact we should have been able to get points and we didnt with the missed opporunity of FG and 1 yard line

when they showed me after trainers went to ware on the field, looked like his head down, alot more concened how he may have gottten hit

its is good news and were really fortunate, he called me that night, and he felt ok,

big fight issue here, thats right, thats all i can say

thats it

I guess they only had 3D vision on for like 7 minutes.

People were supposedly pissed because the screen looked like crap to all those who didn't put the glasses on.

The whole thing, beginning with the fact that this idiot actually has a weekly press conference and ending with the 3d glass issue needing to be worked out rather than working out kickers that could hit from under 40 yards is... insane.

I'd be *** embarrased to put those things on during a critical game, WTH is he thinking? - among the laughing stock of the NFL.

Not sure it it's been talked about here but...

It was embarrasing to be a Cowboy's fan when the crowd was it's loudest when WE had the ball just at the goal line and are trying to score.

Turns out the five yard false start penalty didn't hurt us but COME ON MAN!!!

Yeah. If he was doing that while completely removing himself from football decisions/operations it would be ok.

But he didnt, hasnt so its not.

Reads like it was about making people sit down so they don't block the view of the fans behind them?

If so, only in Dallas. :insane:

So why doesn't he remove himself from football decisions, hire a GM, and focus on paying for his new palace?

He stretches himself too thin to the detriment of the on-field product.

oh I see it all the time and back when we played new orleans in 06 I had to go through this with fans about 10 rows behind and above me...

getting told to sit down by security after the fans complained because we were standing and clapping and cheering on defense......

That is absolutely ********. Should never happen.

Do you think fans in New Orleans will be told to sit down Saturday Night? Ludicrous.

myself and doctor 32 politely told the guy sorry, this is a football game most people are standing and we are playing defense.

He then got mouthy.

So we told him no way aint happening.

Then he went to get the usher...who was a 15 year old girl, that is how it was at the stadium.

I told her politely that we were not going to sit down, the team was on defense...most people were standing. she smiled and said ok.

then the guy got the police officers from out on the concourse...who came over and asked me what the problem was and I told him we were standing and cheering while the team was playing defense and the guy singled us out to sit down...and we are not going to do it.

He laughed and said geez....are you sitting on offense and I said yea...

he just walked away...

then we were getting blown out and the guy and his wife left at the start of the third quarter....

welcome to Dallas.

Jerry Jones' thoughts from The Fan

Todd Archer/Reporter Bio | E-mail | News tips

Some tidbits from Jerry Jones' show this morning on The Fan:

** Jones likes the Cowboys' offense. Only New Orleans and New England have joined the Cowboys in the 5,000-yard club so far this year. Points? That's another story, as Tim Cowlishaw pointed out in his column today.

Bill Parcells' formula was every 100 yards should equal a touchdown. That's not working out for the Cowboys this year and the missed field goal tries aren't helping matters either.

"I like the problem to solve, but we're running out of time to solve it," Jones said on his radio show on The Fan this morning.

** Will there be any major changes should the Cowboys not make the playoffs this year?

"I don't want to get into that," Jones said. "It goes down a road that I don't want to go down right now and that's not making the playoffs."

** Last week Jones wondered if Marion Barber was playing the correct role at running back. This week, "I'm as comfortable as an old shoe when Marion gets the ball," Jones said, but he also said he liked what he saw from Felix Jones.

** Jones said DeMarcus Ware called him Sunday night to say he was OK after suffering the neck injury against San Diego. Shouldn't Jones have called Ware?

Mind boggling.

They should strip that guy of his season tickets and give them to a real fan.
