Jerry Jones or Daniel Snyder ??

If that's the case then between Allen and Shanny there is no reason the Skins can't rebound. That roster is a disaster much like ours was pre Parcells.

As much as I despise Jones as our GM I love him as the owner. To his credit I think he learned a bit from Parcells. he still showed his arse (owens signing)
but he also showed he can listen. (owens release)

I don't know much about Snyder, but he seems to have a harder head than Jones as owner.

The first paragraph I 100 percent agree. It will just take quite a while. I am saying at least until 2012 to become competitive.

The last part, I agreed with until he fired Cerrato. That was a HUGE change

A skins fan is the last person who should be poking fun at the Cowboys trading away draft picks. :laugh1:

Well, I am wondering if you could point to the last time the Commanders traded 2 first round draft picks for a WR :)

I remember when he did that back in 2001.

It was so huge.

That was Marty, not Dan. Dan was not pleased about that.

Difference being here, Dan actually did the firing, not Shanny. But you knew that.

Worst thread ever.

I'm disgusted as a fan this is even a real question a fellow fan even considered.

A decade from now, when Snyder is firing Cerrato again and trying to untangle his mess of an organization I'm sure you'll be saying the same thing.

I'm still waiting for Shanahan to fire Cerrato

Oh wait, he is already gone?

Your Choice as an NFL Owner:

1) Jerry Jones
2) Daniel Snyder

Explain why you would choose the Owner you did. What makes them better than the other one.

This has to be the dumbest poll I've ever seen. The only way you choose wrong is if you choose a number without actually seeing the options.

One is an owner with no patience, the other is an owner that thinks he's a GM too... both have their own major flaws.. I'd take Jerry barely but I'd rather have bob Craft who stays out of the way..

I'll go with #3

Two of the worst, most egotistical meglamaniacs in the league.

You understand what I'm saying, even if you're playing stupid now.

It's cute seeing you guys trying to talk yourself into how "This time, it will be different."

Hell, I'm still wondering the last time the Skins even had a decent WR. God knows they've thrown every draft pick, trade and FA signing under the sun at it.

We've got a 7th rounder and an undrafted FA that have played circles around guys Danny has blown millions and endless resources at.

It doesn't make the RW trade any prettier, but to even mention any criticism of WRs around here with that craptastic group you're team is sporting is nothing short of a joke.

I am trying to give you the benifit of the doubt. I don't think you are as ignorant as you are pretending to be, right?

Why is this particular case (the case being Vinny Cerrato different)

In 2001, Marty Schottenheimer fired Vinny Cerrato shortly after being named Team President/Head Coach

In December 2009, Daniel M. Snyder fired Vinny Cerrato (after Cerrato had been with the organization for a decade) prior to Mike Shanahan being named head coach.

But hey, its all the same!

Not a criticsm of the WRs Dallas has, a criticsm of the trades made for Galloway, and Roy Williams.

But you knew that also

I didn't say it was exactly the same. Cerrato is like a drug for Snyder. Unless you think Snyder had absolutely no say in his previous firing (which would be an idiotic position, so I know that's not what you're saying), Snyder is the proverbial "dog returning to it's vomit" when it comes to Cerrato. They're buddies. He's re-hired him before, he'll probably do it again.

But this time, it's different. Snyder's really doing it, guys! Hope away, Commanders fans.

They'd have to already have one.

Sigh.

You are correct. The Commanders are doomed to 3 straight 5-11 seasons.

Have a good afternoon

Both are tolerable only when their teams are winning, but if I see one more thread that begins with "Jerry says" ...

Two men who made it in this world. Kudos.

I choose Jerry.

Just was reading and Skins Fans love the move by Snyder hiring Shanahan and think this moves the Skins right to the top of the NFC East !!!

Is this a cut and paste from prior to EVERY coaching hire since Danny boy took over? lmao
