Yep

It’s truly amazing how we’ve rewarded him for the product he’s produced this era.

Can’t blame him for staying the course. We’ve certainly not giving him any reason to curb his ways with record revenue.

The problem is it’s not just Cowboy fans anymore. It’s opposing fans filling the seats plus the non football events at the stadium. Cowboy fans could go on strike right now and Jerry wouldn’t feel a thing. He got seat license money and more people lining up for tickets and probably 100 events a year on top of football. He’s in great shape financially to tell the fans he don’t care what they think. Pre Parcells. He was not in that position.

Yes, once the stadium was built and PSL’s signed it sealed the deal not needing success on the field any longer but the local fans are not attending and watching on tv in much lower numbers. They are doing their part but we’re still selling record numbers of merchandise. And nationwide tv audience still dominates. We can do more or should I say less.

But too many fans locally still use it as a business expense entertaining clients and a social event. And frustrated fans broker out their seats .

We could still do more. Opposing fans can’t fill the entire stadium. And we could buy less merchandise and use streams they can’t trace our viewership.

And remember the non Cowboy events aren’t a part of the record revenue the Cowboys are generating.

The problem is Jethro keeps the team just “ interesting and relative “ (his words)enough to create hope with stars the fans embrace.

And he promotes us every year as SB contenders. Fans buy in and then look for scapegoats when it comes up short. And he usually delivers to satisfy the lynch mobs. Rinse and repeat.

really? then-
Jerry your a disgrace to the team and the NFL in general.
There isnt a true Cowboy fan that wont be happy the day you decide to relinquish power.
You single-handedly turned a proud organization from a perennial powerhouse to a laughing stock.
Every year we miss the playoffs from 95 just proves Jimmy was the mastermind behind the team
you really must have loved it then when the 31 other owners told you to shut up or they would kick you from the NFL
Your stance that the GM isnt a necessary position hasnt been successful here or copied any other team

I could go on Jerry and make you even happier

There’s just too many Jethro sympathizers and apologist still giving him a pass for his early success with Jimmy or he’d already been ran out of town.

We see evidence of this even on this site. And we have other fans who think he’s a great owner despite his foolish and embarrassing behavior and results this era as GM.

Not realizing that maintaining himself as GM is being a bad owner. #1 job as owner is hiring a GM, VP and HC which he’s failed miserably this era. They actually congratulate and admire him being #1 in revenue.
It’s bizarre !!!
