Jerry making the players feel the pressure

Another fan perception it only happens in Dallas. In fact it is normal football operations for all teams. However because the media keeps Jerry and Dallas in the news.
fans think it only happens here.

Just so happens, Micah not up for another year. And they really do not have to do anything with Dak.

So it is only CeeDee contract that lingers. And who says it is all on Jerry. Maybe it is all on CeeDee.
Maybe CD doesn't want to sign until he knows what they are doing with #4?

Maybe Dak is negotiating for CD to be traded as he doesn't like his receivers to question him.

Right as we fans have no clue, nor does the media as to what is truly going on.
Only can wildly speculate.
Makes for some interesting as well, frustrating conversations. And sometimes arguments.

Exactly what pressure is he making them feel by not signing his guys? Do these players even care that Jerry feels this way. I wonder how players actually view Jerry and his son Stephen being so stubborn. Please give your thoughts on this
Pretty sure Jerry is starting to feel the pressure.

I think he just needs to sign CeeDee.

We know Dak struggles with pressure, so Jerry is just dumping some pressure on him to see how he performs.

I think he is going to see if Micah is a team guy or if it's all about him?

Meh on Jerry with this.

With out Dak, CD's performance will be severely impacted.

Let's talk this through.

CD gets open. QB's like that.

#1 receivers tend to be the primary read on a lot of plays.

QB's are predictable in that they rely on players they trust.

Coaches nor fans are going to complain much if you are throwing it to the guy who is open.

I'm guessing any QB would crack this code and throw to him a lot. Not seeing a severe impact at all.

Love what Jerry is doing with these overrated so-called Elite studs of ours.
Time to prove it or lose it..................
CD is not Hill or Jefferson.
Micah only shows up mostly against weaker QB and offline.
And Dak is a choke machine who couldn't beat a playoff-caliber team on a good day.
ALL-IN is correct baby................can the Fab 3 get the job done?????

I suppose he's making them earn their money. Dak's not noted for his ability under pressure. Also you dont know what the offer (and counter offer) is. Dak may want 3 years and a NTC at close to $60m for all we know.

If he does that's great, so we can actually understand why Jerry is doing this! Nope not again, because when that pressure you mentioned comes again, we want to have the option at least to trade said struggling player

Exactly, so who's to say the stalling point on Dak's contract, is down to money....IT's NOT..... they arent arguing over a couple of million $$, it's length of contract (and possibly Dak wants a NTC, to protect him being traded to say NE).

It's easy to blame Jerry, however, France moving agency prior tot he last contract negotiation, plus demanding a 4 year when pretty much every other QB was getting a 5 year kind of shows the problems are both sides. Let Dak play out the contract and we'll see what his market is afterwards....oh he'll get the money, but it may not be from a team that's contesting any time soon.

I hate to say this but I don't the uniform/team matters that much to players today. Maybe 30-40 years ago but not today. The priority of every player drafted today is to prove they are worthy of a 2nd contract.

Jerry is under no obligation to throw around massive contracts . The GB game showed how far Dallas has to go to get to the 49ers perhaps the Lions and Packers . Not to mention what kind of club Philly is building .

I think it’s a good thing Dak and MM are on last year prove / earn some more Jones $$$. The Lamb holdout is puzzling , isn’t he still under contract ? Get in camp negotiate with the team in good faith .

The pressure is on the wrong people. Healthy organizations hold the people at the top accountable for results. If they don’t get the results desired they are replaced.

Not in Big D. Here the owner holds mid and low-level people accountable for mistakes made at the top. It’s dysfunctional. If the people at the top are not held accountable, you have no accountability anywhere else. And it’s the foundational flaw that makes this all so maddening.

With the exception of the FO, the entire franchise is on a one-year contract... coaching staff and players. Does that supposed to create the illusion of "pressure"? Are we supposed to ignore the fact that life will go on beyond 2024? Whatever pressure Jerry is trying to create isn't working, IMHO. Trey Lance isn't looking like the insurance policy the FO hoped he would be, but he has a chance to turn that around in the preseason games. At this point, who is buying the threat of blowing up the team in 2025?

Do you think they will cave in again to this at the last moment

I stopped at 2024 lol lol lol spot on, like this is the only team to coach or play for. Jerry is out of his mind only to pay big money to keep all of these guys

‘I hired you to do this and you haven’t, therefore it’s your fault.’

Nevermind that they weren’t capable in the first place, but whose call was that?
