This is a lot of BS though. They've allocated a lot of money to two players. Romo and Smith. Who else? Not Murray, Dez, Fred, Martin, Leary, Williams, Free, Dunbar, Beasley? Perhaps you can add JW to the offensive $$& he's talking about. But JJ has spent as much, if not more on this pathetic defense if you take Romo out of equation. That's a complete spinning BS statement. This is turning into an unneeded, distracting fiasco. Looks more like a questionable franchise than it does an up and coming one.

Well they play on the offense so it's not bs.

Link? I havent heard this. But it definitely is interesting

It was Clarence Hill that said that on twitter. I dont know how to link it, but again IF its true I understand not going back again and bidding against themselves.

I have no idea what that means.

Think it's Jerry's incoherent way of dispelling reports that there are off-field issues standing in the way of a long-term deal for Dez. It surely cannot mean what it actually says.

Yes, it's difficult to decode Jerry-Speak.

I know the man is pretty darn good at business but do you really think he graduated from the University of Arkansas.
Probably wasn't an english or communications major, huh?

I think being on air causes part of the Jerry-Speak issue. It's similar with a lot of athletes that speak differently when they are being interviewed than they normally speak.

From what I've heard, Jerry is more coherent when speaking to people off-air.

Jerry says they've allocated a lot of money to the offense, have to be cognizant of spending some on the defense.

+

Off the field issues are not a consideration for any player in terms of a contract per Jerry Jones

what BS, this is negotiations and they lots of players to deal with
they have spent lots of resources on offense and they were dead up on the cap
until they let go of old peoples with big contracts and started rebuilding the right way
now they have a FA period with 20 players to deal with
questionable franchise?

The BS is that we have a lot invested money wise in the offense...that's just not true!!! Again other than Tony and Tyron.

There is another tag option where dez could test market see his value and if we don't match we get 2 first round picks
