Is Mims better than Washington ?
Washington was only contracted for one year, Mims is taller and faster than Washington and they can have him until 2024 at a low cost, and I do think he is better and can be better than Washington. If the cowboys have already called asking about him, it's because they saw something in him. Watching his highlights, you can see an interesting player who, if exploited correctly, could be the WR that the cowboys need to grab attention and leave other players free to do more air attack damage.

Wonder if the Steelers would want to part with Chase Claypool?

If we do add a WR Claypool would be at the top of my list. Still on his rookie deal and still young. That being said it’ll take a lot to get him as the Steelers really don’t want to move him.

Rumors are pointing to a trade for DL Cam Heyward.

Also in talks with Bears about LB Roquan Smith and Indy about LB Shaq Leonard.

Also rumor that Washington will trade DT Jonathan Allen to Cowboys but Cowboys required to trade him back to Washington after the season is over. i.e. A scheme between little Danny and Jerry to rent a player. Danny wants to stick it to Eagles and Giants.
Where are you getting any of this?

While I'd be drooling over Allen at DT, I want no part of a 1 year rental....I don't like that kind of thing at all.

I think Jerry is actually very serious about signing OBJ later....spend money instead of draft picks at WR; Then look for any trades that help the run defense. However, If you take away the QB's runs, the Bears didn't really do that much. The RB's broke a few long runs when we were expecting them to pass and padded those run stats in the 4th quarter instead of trying to catch up passing. What I've seen so far this season is a lot of teams having success running on us when Quinn wanted to rush the passer, but when he wants to stop the run and commit the resources to it, the defense has stopped the run. Yesterday, I think we all expected the Bears to throw more than they did when they faced a steep deficit 3 different times.

That would feel very underwhelming. The guy can’t get on the field in Miami, and comes in as the 4th receiver here plus has an $8MM cap hit next year.

Unless Miami is literally sending a pick just for the cowboys to take him off their hands why bring him back?
Wow 4 catches for 40 yards in 7 games for Wilson. At least he got paid. Maybe he will rejoin us next season aftet he's cut this off season

Cowboys depth chart at DE:

Left Defensive End

DeMarcus Lawrence
Sam Williams

Right Defensive End
Dorance Armstrong
Dante Fowler Jr.

Plus Micah Parsons
they arent 290-300 pounders. They get washed on the edge during the run.We need Big dudes that can hold the edge and contain. Sam is heavy handed but still a liability against the run.

Cam Heyward would be a dream if we land him. But unlikely.
