11 games to see if he can turn the team around. See if the team responds to his coaching. If they don't they can be an early candidate for Shanahan, Holmgren, Cowher or Chucky.

That would be disastrous.

Why on earth would you promote someone who has struggled trying to keep his own house from burning?

Yes give the guy that can't even keep half the team on track the reins mid season that's surely going to give us the boost we need to win some more rings.

Dumbest idea I've seen today and it's not happening garrett lost what little credibility he had for a head coaching job already he's done NOTHING to earn the job hence him still being here after actively searching for a job last offseason

He was a 1 hit wonder and his 15 mins of fame are up

If Wade's defense were #1 overall, I doubt anyone would be wanting to fire him.

Romo plays good, our offense will be fine. Romo plays bad, we'll have problems.

I would have no problem with it. This team has been going backwards since December 2007 under Wade. Garrett may or may not be better but we would at least know if he is the answer. If the team falls apart can him, if they do well keep him around. Powderpuff is not getting the job done!!!!

Give Garrett what, a chance at HC?

POPYCOCK!

If Jimmy Jonhson was coaching this team today he would have ripped the headset off of Garret's head several games ago. If anything that's all Garrett has earned.

If you're gonna fire Wade might as well kill two birds with one stone and give Redball his tryout.

I agree though, Garrett hasn't exactly made a very strong bid for that position.

Our offence is #1 overall because we've played weak run D teams (with the exception of Denver) not because of our OC

Our RB's are making something out of nothing.

hogwash...if Jimmy were coaching this team, butts would be chewed and some players might even be benched or replaced

Yeah...um, ok

By the way, are the Giants a weak run d team?

When we played them? yes they played garbage run defense and got ran over

yeah, it had nothing to do with our blocking, play designs or talent of our backs

what was I thinking

Would be a good idea except for the glaring fact that hes struggling himself lol

you fire a struggling head coach to promote a offensive coordinator whos been under fire since last season.

what is the logic in that move?

Its not going to happen so the point is moot, but with our particular team you might make the move to see if it helps light a fire. You dont know what Garrett (or for that matter Decamilis, maybe Houck) might do different if they were in control of everything. Maybe practices would be better run. Maybe they pay more attention to detail. Maybe they'd be a better motivator. Most teams are a reflection of their HC. Pretty obvious what that shows the last 24-25 games or so with Wade.
