Jerry thinks we have plenty of time to get this figured out. No rush or anything, it's a 17 game season, now.

Yeah, sounds just like the guy who had a head coach in training for a decade.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan: "I think the thing we need to zero in on is when we get that ball down in there close, we've got to get touchdowns. And that's probably across the board over these last three ball games. We got a long time to go in this season. We got a lot of room to really adjust and correct these things. While it's something to note, it's not a long-range concern."

Jones on if he's happy with the offensive changes so far: "I want to see more to use the word 'happy.' But let me be real clear, I think with what we're trying to do is really doable. We certainly have the personnel to execute on it. ... I give it a thumbs up. Let's go."

I agree. 3 olineman out, first couple weeks of the offense. Not a big deal to me unless the Oline continues to be in shambles.

Has not having Ezekiel Elliott contributed to some of the Cowboys' red zone issues early in the season?

Jerry Jones on @1053thefan: "Zeke's unique physicalness is always nice to have. It is very good to have. We think of physical on short yardage and we probably should. But I do not think that physicalness from the running back is contributing to us not getting in the end zone. It is not."

I still think Deuce would work in the red zone.

You can use him to open things up.

JMO.

Have players in that they have to account for. Thats how you open it up.

Use 2 TE, 2 backs etc.

He might as well say winning a Superbowl, or just getting to an NFC Championship game is not a long-term concern.

yeah, why don't they throw deuce over the defenders for a TD in the red zone? He can't weigh much. Or get Aubrey to come in and kick deuce over for a TD.

When are we getting another OC?

Yea if living in a make believe management world...Jerry and McCarthy are saying they already have handles for adjustments that are strictly beyond many just understanding three starters missing on their offensive line is more than preparing for Halloween or even All Hallowed Eve.

As the Cowboys' GM, Jerry Jones simply isn't doing what needs to be done to get the right people involved with his team. Luepke is an extremely talented FB/RB who is well suited to replace the talent now missing with Zeke's absence. Of course, Jerry is much more involved with tending to his team's brand, rather than getting the appropriate talent involved as Zeke's replacement. If he had been actively seeing to it that Luepke was actively used, his team's offense could have seen much better results than it's had lately.
