Jerry obviously didn't want to sign Dak at all. He was pressured into it by the fans and even probably people in the building. Jerry doesn't like Dak that much and he's given off vibes about it, guys Jerry actually likes don't get franchise tagged.

There's some truth here I think.

Think of the fallout had Dak NOT been resigned.

Jerry would have been even more demonized and labeled, given Dak's body of work between his annual playoff game pants pooping.

He really had no choice.

What fallout? Only 2 or 3 people would have been really pissed off. The rest of would have been having a dead man's party....

LOL.....The only Doom is for our beloved Cowboys as the Haters (as you love to call them) will have a blast watching your idol do the Dak Fail again and again.....

P.S. I'll bet you have at least 30 photos of Dak in your house.:muttley:
Looks who's talking? The person whose X account is years long full of Dak hatred and attacks.

it will be a long 4 years. whether we like it or not, we are stuck with Dak here for the next 3 years. Jerry and Stephen don't like to let players go before their contracts end. so one way or other, he will keep Dak until end of contract. do his master spinning job year to year and do just enough for cowboys to be oh, just so competitive, sell tickets. sell stadium experience. sell jerseys. and go cha ching.
I'm not upset like all of you all are. Dak still has game. I totally understand why Jerry gave him a new contract extension.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan when asked about Dak Prescott speaking highly of Mike McCarthy and wanting to see him continue being Dallas' head coach: "Dak has a vested interest in the team. He's a critical part of our success as we go forward. His thoughts and ideas about how to be better are very important."

Jones later added: "I understand completely (about him wanting to help Mike McCarthy). That was the right thing for him to say. If he had been out here and our quarterback and making plays and helping us have a better record than we got right now, that's the way you help Mike. Those kinds of things I know are hard when you're hurt."

Is it just me or had Yoda gotten buyer's remorse?

"If he had been out here and our quarterback and making plays and helping us have a better record than we got right now, that's the way you help Mike."

Those are harsh words by Yoda.
I hope Dak considers this and sthu until he can put on pads and earn his albatross' pay.

Jerrah from the top rope.
In other words Yoda said
The McCarthy/Dak combo did not work out in 4 years. If my QB wants a 5th year for Mike, too bad. Those on the sidelines telling me what I have to do are walking a thin line.

Blimey, I frighten meself at times.

Under his pillow.....
In the bathroom....
Lining his fridge...
Dak pillow cases....

etc....
Don’t forget his sippie cup and blankie. I can only imagine the fantasies in his mind. His number one wish is a sleep over.

Oh, the Fan.

So I assume they didn’t bring up anything about the “do it his way” comments?

Because after Jerry threatened their jobs they have been asking nothing but softball questions.
Yes, like how did pigeon poop get on your sky box.
