He is basically OK with his team. He said Blank’s team (paraphrasing) “took us to the woodshed”.

Of course he is.

Not being OK with this team would be an indictment of him, no one else. He picked the head coach. He essentially builds the roster. He's not your typical owner that hires a GM who hires the coach where he can blame the GM.

This franchise is basically FUBAR'd until he relinquishes control to his kid who operates the team like a real NFL franchise and not their owner personal version of Madden football.

There are times when JJ should just avoid the cameras. He can’t help himself with these vapid statements.

I am hoping he will criticize the GM soon.

how about "this is completely unacceptable and we dont allow constant mediocrity with the dallas cowboys"?

He can't say that.

Because if he, the owner, doesn't allow constant mediocrity, that would mean he would have to fire himself, the GM who has allowed this to happen.

Expect the same crappy staff back in 2018. Expect the same crappy FA plan in 2018. They will overrate the roster, overrate the coaching staff.

It's just easier to expect that and then maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised when they actually do something worthwhile with the franchise.

He isn't going to say much of anything else, because he knows that all of the bad games that this team has is a reflection of the bad choices that he made as GM. And is too prideful to admit when he is wrong, which is why Garrett is allowed to over stay his welcome.

he wasnt on ESPN. He was doing his usual post game press conference. ESPN just carried i imagine because of all the distractions jerry has caused recently and because dallas got blown out.

also, Jerry blamed green's problems tonight on atlanta's scheme using the wide 9 technique.

I couldn't believe he said that out loud. That makes the coaching staff here seem completely incompetent. I mean if he got beat once and they said the scheme got em its one thing, but every snap of the game?

LOL. He's going to see it again this week. Philly uses the wide nine as well.

Think our coaches will adjust if Smith can't play? Of course they won't.

Because Jerry is making boatloads of money off of suckers like us (no offense). He wants to win, of course. But he enjoys money much more. Nothing is going to change here. We will have to luck ourselves into a championship
