Twitter: Jerry on Kelvin Joseph, "time for him to become a man"

Sometimes a scrub is just a scrub. That's what you get when you ignore a position. Because Jerrah demands that it's time for him to play good doesn't mean he suddenly will.

bossman not a scrub...lets give him a chance

“Time for him to become a man” has a lot of other connotations to it that are not football related.

Jerry and his Jerryisms.

I think it's obvious what Jerry means, and he's right. Especially considering the offseason that Kelvin Joseph had, it's time for him to.grow up and show what he can be at his best. This Sunday is a great way to start that.

His reponse......

Hope the kid wakes up to the opportunity staring him in the face. It’s one thing to put the work in, earn the respect of your teammates and organization, and try your best and struggle.

Quite another to have a rep as an immature and selfish guy and loaf and fail. When the head of your company publicly says you need to grow up— there are lots of implications.

Success in the NFL isn’t just going to roll out to him on a silver platter. He is going to have to decide what he wants, and put forth the effort to go get it.

I’m pulling for KJ but Jerry has just escalated this to “it’s now or never” time. Good luck kid— this appears to be your last chance to endear yourself to the FO

Sounds like Jerry isn't a fan of his "rapping".

Jerry doesn't care a flying-rat's-*** about rapping.

There's obviously a lot that's happened w/Joseph that people in the building know about. (Which we don't)

Flipside: It is always thick as syrup, the hypocrisy of Jerry Jones moralizing about anything.

Jerry has his own version of the "White House" down the street from The Star...

Yup, if he goes out and plays like the starter then we go into next year without needing Brown (though we could resign him cheap as depth later in the year when he returns) and without having to draft CB.

The timing would be nice if he gets it going now, the skills are there but he’s gotta put it together. I’m glad we have Houston and Jax to get him his confidence. He also played well last year against Philly so maybe that carries over to Christmas Eve.
He has played about as well as Brown in the games he has played significant snaps.

He missed the first 6 games of his rookie season (2021) but immediately became a top special teams player (Top 3 in percent of ST snaps played).
- Playing Special Teams is all about effort and being coachable...
