One of those moments Jerry needs to shut up. “Become a man”…this the type of stuff that people get on him for.

true,

HOWEVER, this fanbase need to lower expectations and give him fair assessment. if you expect him to be Diggs and that how you react to his play, that won't be fun debate around here.

lets keep him compared to Brown/Lewis level of play IE both have susceptible to get beat at times, get over panelized at times, been our weak links at times on defense. so lets keep Calm and let see how he develops over 6-7 starts and not judge every snap or bad play, Just keep our expectations with perspective.

Growing pains will happen.
My expectations for this season is he plays at Brown's level or very slightly below. I'm expecting not a huge drop off between him and Brown.I feel that's fair and reasonable. Don't forget that Brown wasn't playing lights out before he got hurt. So if KJ can maintain Brown's level of play or close to it then we'll be fine. Anything else is a bonus. I'd think it would be unfair to expect him to be playing better than Brown, cuz if he could he would have been out there. I'm not a big fan of KJ but I feel we'll be alright. If not we have several weeks before the playoffs to get Sheffield and anyone else in that spot and roll. We'll be okay.

Jerry's absolutely right here. They've been patient with Joseph, but now they need him to step up and deliver on the trust placed in him.

Normally I would agree but we a potential legit ELITE starter opposite of Diggs. Brown is/was never going to be that ( he's a free agent). So IMO Joseph needs to play way above Brown level to secure 2023 starting and stop us from burning a 1st/2nd round pick on 2023 CB.

Reads to me like a “grow up kid” comment.

I can certainly see it from an organizational perspective because it’s year two for a second round pick and he needs to step up at a position of need.

And Joseph either does that now, or the team will not factor him into future plans and will start the process of replacing him.

This is the definition of a career crossroads.

Hey, it worked for Rickey Bobby when his daddy said
"...time to be a man". Maybe it will work out for Joseph too.

Bottom line is, the kid seems to think he's already a star.
Well, here's your gift wrapped opportunity, kid.
He's about two more penalties from not playing at all,
then boom! An injury catapults him into the lineup.

I'm torn between seeing him burnt by Davis Mills and Bradin Cooks on a go route,
or watching him return a pick six. It's possible, I'll get to see both.

Jerry's saying look, I picked you. Get out there and show them.
Nothing more, or less.

I'd say it was time when he got drafted.

The dude has talent. IMO, the most talented CB on the roster. Unless you count Damone Clark.

agree with Risen as far as talent for Bossman....now tell him not to put too much on himself and play within skill-set and he will be fine....my lowly opinion
