Which is conducive and relative to how I and our team is built relative to how conducive and it relates. Relatively speaking that is.

Jerry Jones on @dfwticket on what he's excited about with the Cowboys' offensive changes: "It's Dak-friendly. He's going to have an offensive line that is going to be able to protect him better, their spacing is narrower, which is conducive to protection.

Narrower spacing on the oline means more space for the tackles to defend and a shorter run to the QB for DEs.

Maybe it's better for Dak, as he seems to have more trouble when the pocket collapses than a edge rusher coming free. But narrower spacing comes with a trade off of an oline with less breadth.

Mazi Smith was the right pick. There was no boat missed.
I am talking about the second round and O'Cyrus Torrence at guard over the TE that starts the year not being able to play.

They didn't like Torrence and Schoonmaker starts practicing this week.

He's going to have more opportunities to dump the ball off to the backs. He's going to have less to do before the snap, and less to read after the snap. The receivers are going to be less dependent upon reading the d-back and Dak reading the d-back. It's going to be more about being at a spot where they should be. The (combination) of all of it, and all of it is adjustments, not dramatic changes. When you combine it all then I'm confident that we're going to be excited about how it protects Dak and how it actually helps efficiency for Dak."

Did he tell us anything about the plays he has installed and how he (the HC) and McCarthy (the OC) will share playcalling duties?

Where have we heard this before?
Remember in 2013 about the ”new“ Romo friendly offense?
https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profo...is-a-creative-offensive-mind-like-sean-payton

Remember when Jerry said getting Jason Garrett to stop calling plays was the key to our offense?
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/jason-garrett-wont-be-calling-cowboys-offensive-plays-in-2013/

I could post a half a dozen more like this. I just wish the old man would shut up and let the play on the field do the talking. Yeah, I know…he won’t.
History does seem to repeat itself in Dallas. The funnier part is that so few fans remember enough to piece it together.

Torrence was black listed by the Cowboys and many teams. Plus, they just didn't like him. The Cowboys don't draft guards anyway they draft tackles and move them inside.

Schoon start practice later this week or next week.

So…Dak basically doesn’t have to read the defense pre-snap, the WR’s route or DB’s coverage; he is just throwing it to a spot on the field, or dumping off to the RB?
If true, it seems there might be more to playing QB in Madden NFL than playing QB for the Dallas Cowboys.
Yeah…this is going to work just fine…good thing Dak is going to be paid top-dollar too…

I mean I like the posters who use what Jerry says to back up thier argument WHILE in another thread calling Jerry an idiot..lol its like some people cant keep track of thier own comments..lol

"See look Jerry is saying the offense needs to be dumbed down for Dak, the owner/GM would know!!!!"
another thread....

"Jerry is the worse owner/GM in the NFL why would anyone listen to a damn thing he says!!!"

Hmmm the irony...

I'm not certain that is the case. They went after a blocking tight end because the ones they have drafted are pass catchers only, for the most part. They passed on Torrence, nit because they didn't like him as much as they, once again fooled themselves into thinking they got a diamond in the trash.

Dallas being on the clock for second round picks over the last several years has been an example of what not to do.

The simplification model is in full swing now.

Funny, he said Moore's offense was Dak friendly and he got fired.
Moore thought he could be Cowboy friendly and failed miserably at that.
He failed because he had no clue that Dak was as High School as he was, who would ever think that.

The last several years they have drafted Diggs, Sam Williams, and Schoonmaker. You don't know what you are talking about.

I suggest you review this. They hit on some, but the second round has been notorious. Look at the entire 2000's and see they did find some players, but then they took some stinkers.
