Nowhere.Where has that gotten us?

Why would the Jets want Tolbert?!? They have Davis, Wilson, Moore, Mims and Berrios.Me I'm calling the Jets or the Panthers who ever bites on the offer Jalen Tolbert and a 3rd rounder with a conditional 6th next year that could turn into a 4th.
Then call the Panthers and offer Hill a 2nd rounder and a conditional 5th that can turn into a 2nd if Derrick Brown resigns with the Cowboys.
Leave them offers out there and see who bites.

Panthers will want a kings random for Brown. Hill does nothing for them at all
I never predicted a record for this season so keep spewing your lies; seek mental help as you have issues.
Lawrence, Armstrong, Fowler, Basham, Barr… just how many players do you think are available, that are better than what we have, much less can come close to matching Parsons production!Perhaps but hypothetically what happens if Parsons, already nursing a groin injury, goes down for numerous games? That would be a bigger loss than Dak's injury so sometimes it's best to prepare before things go wrong. Besides, adding a piece or two to this defense would only further go towards improving Dallas' chances this season. With upcoming contract decisions Dallas may have this year and next to make a run.....so while SF paid a heavy price to acquire CMC and just like the Rams did last season with getting OBJ and Von Miller sometimes you just have to go for it now.
Look a GM has to keep trying. He has to make moves in FA and trades occasionally to give his team their best chance of accomplishing something in the playoffs...or at least what he thinks is their best chance. If the current trend continues then Parsons and Diggs will be resigned and most likely join a long, long list of very good Cowboy players over the past three decades that have never had a good playoff run. Management must try hard when the opportunity is presented to improve the roster....not set on their hands and watch the NFL world go by. Jones & Son should be looking for a few good players right now!!!Some of you wanting to trade will be the first to complain when the Cowboys cease to become competitive a few years from now.
They won't be able to resign Diggs and Parsons due to salary cap issues. They won't be able to replace them because they traded away future premium picks.
How have the Rams and Bucs been doing lately?
In his defense, other than maybe LG, we don't have a position worthy of trading draft picks, at least not now. I know some don't wanna hear it but he's right.
But I will say if I could get the Panthers to trade Brown for the right price.......I'm all in, hard.
No, those are smiles...because we are fine where we are.![]()
I posted in the other threads...sometimes making no moves is the best moves.
They both won a Super Bowl recently. Both won a superbowl recently. While we only draft and dont play in fa at all. Bad example.
Chiefs, bills, Eagles are also aggressive in free agency/trades.
Edit: I'd rather Jerry pay for a SB while we are close then to go another 25+ years having lots of cap space, homegrown talent, and no superbowls.
Jerry hasn't proven capable of building a winning team so yeah I'd buy 1 sb in 25 years then 0 in 25 years...They both won a Super Bowl recently.
Would you rather win one Super Bowl or three Super Bowls in a ten year span?
Every penny of the Cowboys cap eventually gets used. Jerry Jones has no problem paying top dollar for coaching, facilities, scouting, etc. Why would he decide to hold back on the salary cap if he thought it would help him win a Super Bowl?
Also, going "all out" doesn't guarantee anything, othe teams have wrecked their future with that gamble but but failed.
There are 32 teams in the NFL. Therefore, the average odds for any team to win one Super Bowl in a 32 year span is 1 in 32, right?
So what do you call a team that has won one Super Bowl in 32 years? You call them mediocre.
The goal for the Cowboys was never to win one Super Bowl, the goal is to build a team that competes for a Super Bowl every year and wins more than the Law of Averages dictates. It has always been about multiple Super Bowls.
Some teams are all in for the moment to win a Superbowl. Jerry is not, which is shocking considering his age. Looking at the NFC we are very capable of getting to the big game. We need, and have needed, a DT to stop the run and a LB to fill gaps and make stops. They choose not to address this issue and good teams will continue to run against us period. Can we outscore them? I thought last year we would put up 30 against 49ers, so what do I know. Good teams have made moves to improve as posted earlier. We stay with the same philosophy we have for years. P.S... Charles Hayley and Deion Sanders say what's up guys.
Agree about the Ego Jerry carries. However, the way he despises Jimmy J., that one Superbowl so everyone can stop telling him who really put that Cowboys run together you'd think would drive that ego to shut the naysayers up. Guess not though. No it's not shocking. Look at his actions over the years. He swears up and down he's all about winning the SB. Look at his actions, not his words. the SB is not his first nor his second priority. It's third or fourth tops. Topping making it to an winning the SB is profits for his family and him being able to play like the team is his fantasy team and wanting to do things his way even if it's proven to fail time and again (His monumental ego wants all the control and credit). Those two are priority one and two. There might be a third before the SB.
So no it's not shocking at all because it's not his priority.
Would not touch AB with 10 foot polethey could get beckham or AB , no trade of picks, just a little cash. 1 season deal.
I would call Terrence Williams, Allen Hurns or Brice butler before I’d call AB LOLWould not touch AB with 10 foot pole
