Twitter: Jerry on possible trades

I don’t think we should be dealing picks for players right now, but if Carolina was inclined to move Brown for a 2nd and 4th, I’m up for that.

Bear in mind just because they dealt one malcontent and a bad RB contract doesn’t mean they are going to gut the roster entirely.

I didn’t say he was good, I said he is better than those in here.

Again ...... I think most on here would hire an experienced NFL player/front office person to be GM of this team and not place thier unqualified children in positions that can make or break a Football team.

But maybe I have a better opinion of the average fan on Cowboyszone than you do.

I doubt it. Most dislikers fans stick together and are blind to the real facts.

As to fans hiring a GM. That is not the point we are talking Jerry the GM not ownership.

Fans talk as if they were the GM, not as the owner. So this …they will hire a GM does not apply…..If they hire a GM then they need to keep their opinions out, as would that not be called meddling?

Not in this case. We have a short window with Dan Quinn before he becomes a head coach elsewhere. The conference is there for the taking but we have a glaring hole in our run defense that needs to be addressed if we're going to hold up against Niners/Eagles down the line.
Could be the next hc in Dallas too right?

ok not much worth trading picks for right now,
But if I were cowboys gm, I would look at adding odell B or maybe crazy AB just on a 1 season deal. now AB I dont know if he got
his ankle fixed or not. Jerry used to love guys like him. And the guy can still play

Lamb 1 decent game, gallup looks ordinary wash will be off injury, basically none doing that good at getting open or rac.

Not saying he’s gonna make a move but it seems like it would be smart business not to tell the world what you’re trying to do. I think we’ve had a couple or 30 threads about that subject.

Only think I dislike about this team is the front office.

And the people here are just as qualified to talk about the GM as Jerry Jones and his Son.
They do not have any real NFL experience because they have no accountability...
. Just like the people on this board.

Jerry has been playing fantasy football for 30 + years and getting richer and richer while doing nothing but fail at his primary Job.

The man's smart. Why fix something that isn't broke. But, wait till the off season. There's going to be players released/traded that will shock some of you!

How does anyone know it will be a sweet move?
He could get another injury, or just not be as good as many think he will be.

SF got lucky. They failed to get rid of Jimmy G. Then said, oh well we will sign you to a deal. Lance goes down as he was not looking all that good anyway. So Jimmy G steps in.
Many fans wanted him gone, but now are glad they have him.

CMC most likely will help, but we still need to wait and see.
who is cmc lol and what position.

Jerry isn't any good at trades anyhow.

Translation: “We like our guys…we’re satisfied with mediocrity”.
Who do you think we'd be able to trade for that would make this team better? And realistically, not some super Madden trade.

totally agree.
they do have experience though, just not good experience for the most part.
The whole bought a lifetime job, and I will work how I want when I want , and will do whatever I want, when I want, is crazy.
It is pretty much how hitler operated.

Isn't that a no-no amongst the coaching fraternity in the NFL? When was the last time a coordinator took a job from the head coach after an offseason firing?

Does Dallas follow the nfls fraternity? Jerry does things his own way. They paid to keep Quinn in Dallas. Imo is Dallas has a losing record right now I think Quinn would be getting ready to be hc by midseason

Who's out there at WR?

Elijah Moore: Jets first round pick in 2021 is demanding a trade, zero targets last week, he's going to cost a #1 plus something.
OBJ: Shopping around for a one year deal, should be ready in 2-3 weeks. Buff, KC Rams bidding

Im usually all about keeping draft picks but if the offense returns to form with Dak and the defense stays hit this is the best year in the past decade or so to be a buyer and go all in.

I just don’t think we’re going to have many sellers outside of the Panthers. Maybe HOU?
