God help us.... Jerry thinks we have the 2016 Line and the 2016 Zeke again. What is wrong with these buffoon's?

Sad thing is 90% of Cowboys fans will believe him. Dumbest fans on the planet to not see the impending disaster. Probably the worst OL since the late 80's or early 2000's.

i love the smell of nay palm in the morning!!!

I'm a big fan of dominant run first Cowboys offense. It's how the Cowboys have won championships.

I really enjoyed the 2016 versions of the o-line, Zeke and Dak.
I thought Moore captured some kind of ability to call effective run strategies through the first 7 games last year and I was very excited. Then it just disappeared.

If they can sustain whatever they were doing last year in those first 7 games for a full season then this team has a chance to compete in the playoffs.

The defense is ready.

It's up to McCarthy,Moore, Dak, Zeke and the o-line to get it done on offense.
They can’t. One of worst olines in nfl.

This the area where I question Dak. This is your team and you should know the strength of the personnel; call plays to your strengths.
Jerry says....yadda yadda yadda

The greats have command of the huddle and keeps the defense on edge. This team has not proven to show consistent dominance, on the offensive side of the ball.

Which do you think is easier for sub-par offensive linemen to do? Pass block 50 times a game or run block 40 times a game?
Jerry needs to wake up. The league has changed and you are not likely to run 40 times a game.
If our QB was Lamar or Trey lance, I would understand that mindset. There is a reason why QBs are making 40 million plus. They have to pass
and be able to move the ball downfield when it really counts.

actually is if you ask Olinemen what they enjoy is it is run blocking, to attack defensive linemen. In pass blocking they are defending at the defense attacks them, in run blocking they are on the attack.

I have no doubts the Dak will be throwing the ball but just as it was with Romo in 2014 season Dallas ran the ball.

So he meant what he said about Zeke being the focal point of the offense. How many ya think we'll see in the box? Guess........lol

Jerry & Co. invested so heavily in the passing game the past few seasons I am not sure that turning that around so much in 1 season, especially given the lack of O-Line depth and WR threats, is a genuine possibility.

Opposing defenses will probably be looking to double team Lamb (as he is the only viable receiving threat Dallas has right now) and focus the rest of the defense on shutting down Zeke/Pollard. Let's hope Dallas can figure out how to elevate this offense given their current players as nobody wants to see Dak under constant pressure.

You can always count on Jerry to tell our opponents exactly what we are going to do.

Does Jerry know he has a rookie LT, an inexperienced LG and a barely serviceable C on his offensive line? Does he know that his RB is not the productive runner he once was (after he got paid of course) and that was with a stud O line? I guess he forgot how teams blitzed us to stuff the run and dared Dak to beat defenses by forcing him to read coverages.

WE all know that Tampa will smack us in the mouth…and we won’t make any adjustments and will revert to same, predictable play calling. We will wake-up halfway through the 3rd Q and narrowly lose the game, blaming the outcome of the game on a dubious penalty and Jerry will claim a moral victory. He will cite our record from last year and tell us “we like our guys”.

Like most posters on here I am a passionate Cowboys fan, but just tired of the Jones’-infused hype year-after-year and then have to accept another mediocre season. And of course…there is no change on the horizon.

Defenses will stack the box and make Dak beat them with his arm. Everybody knows the OL is weak in pass support so if we can't get the Pass game going this place will go crazy lol

actually he said that a month ago before smiths injury and BTW not new concept foirst 8 game slast year the 6-0 run opun intended was DUE in large part to the run game..zeke had 5.1 ypc was 2-3 in the league in yards etc.. so you can try and manipulate what jerry meant, they tried that last year and injuries along the Ol, Zeke and pollard and some to Dak ie calf set us back. so really nothings changed i would hope you pay greta defnse, run the ball, stop the run and get all you can from STs and you can have succesful season.

Jerry seems to be having buyers regret with QB1.

He's desperate for a dominate run game it seems as is everyone else that doesn't believe in QB1.

Yes, because it will eventually wear out the defense.
And just because I LOVE a good rushing attack I know passing has to be in the mix as well.
Running and punting doesn’t wear down anyone.

And you would punt on 3rd down, That's why you keep the chains moving.

Bad running games don’t wear anyone down.

56 rushing yards per game doesn’t ware down a defense. That’s what zeke averaged.

And people thought the mayor was crazy when he was open to Dallas having two football teams... this isn't going to change any time soon. Our superbowl will be getting past the second round of the playoffs.
