Sure, he's a HOFer for doing things Jimmy Johnson told him to do 30 years ago, but when you jealously fire that guy and go over a quarter of a century of doing nothing "your way" it taints your legacy.

Jerry would have never had the know how or football knowledge to do what it took to create that dynasty in the 90s. That was all Jimmy. The only credit Jerry gets for that is listening to Jimmy.

EVERY OWNER BUYS A TEAM FOR INVESTSMENTS AND TAX SHELTERS IE MONEY

ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY.. they didn't become billionaires to lose money and of you think the Jonses dont care about winning you are clueless..they may make few mistakes and poor decisions but they aren't alone just because they structured the power pyramid differently.

if it was all about money none of the big name players would have got 2nd contracts i can list 10 teams whove the last decade who do this ie like the jets etc just keep trading great payers and redrafting rinse repeat..show me ever where the Jines family got cheap .you say FA but they see that as high risk low reward as many high priced week 1 Fas DO NOT live up to their contracts. Sure as a fan it would be more exciting to have them play poker and go all in with some moves but that doesn't make them cheap.. they spend and spend big when they feel its necessary..
being careful when and where they spend is not cheapo its business..

there's a cap and they have decided how to approach it but in no way is that cheap. Boring, maybe, low risk moves but not all about money.

The bottom line is Jethro’s leadership isn’t what’s best for the success on the field of Cowboys Football.

Rooting for the success of the team on the field after the fact isn’t necessarily rooting for him , it’s simply rooting for the products success.

Much like we all might not be supportive of leadership in any business or public entity we otherwise support or patronage. We can continue supporting its product while calling out or making efforts to change leadership and or it’s policies.

in his eyes its process..why not? itys not about money its the brand, the star, the prestige. Sure come gt it but plan to pay double LOL why not i wouldn't either.

its not a hobby like some tools below insinuate this due and his family eat and sleep football they all layers and have children and grandchildren that play..he bought the team because of his passion for the sport , sure owing business is about profit first but that not his goal..thats the easy part.. he has every right to make money as its a business first.

Indirectly if we watch any NFL games we are unfortunately putting money in Jethro’s pocket. That doesn’t mean we are a fan of what he represents to Cowboys Football.

If you was the owner of a company and you had a good first 7 years because you allowed the people around you to do their job, but got jealous that they were praised for doing a good job, so you fired them and took complete control, and then went on to have a horrible next 32 years you'd be known as a joke in whatever field you're in.
