You sound like you don’t know exactly what Jethro was inducted for into the HOF.
I know.....it's not hard to find

I just can't defend Jerry like you. He has made my favorite team a laughing stock over the past 26 years.Just coz say it doesn't make it so. Hell, I get win haven't done much over the last 25+ years but the fact remains he was still voted in the HOF and for what? Certainly not the last 25 years........Super Bowl teams he AND Jimmy built. You're saying who gets most credit and I'm saying it's obvious the HOF doesn't care......they both are in.
Then why would you state he was inducted as a GM like Jimmy was a HC .
Right
The revenue stream simply allows them to continue their ways. Only if the revenue was interrupted or decreasing would they have to consider changing.
Why would the Joneses sell the best sports franchise in the world? The family is set for life. The Cowboys our the equivalent to having control of Higarden in Game of Thrones. That clears that up (lol).......so the only way this gets a new owner is he ( and probably Stephen too ) is 6 ft under.

Amazing, especially considering that when Forbes did its annual valuation of franchises this year, the Broncos were 10th. So if the Broncos are 10th and worth $4.5 billion, what are the rolling-in-dough Cowboys worth? Forbes says $6.5 billion. The smartest business consultant in NFL circles, Marc Ganis, told me he thinks Jones would get $8 billion or $8.5 billion if he tried to sell. Jones, when I asked him, said:
“Ten up.”
Asked to clarify, he said, “more than $10 billion.”
“But let me make this very clear,” Jones said. “I’ll say it definitively. I will never do it. I will never sell the Cowboys. Ever.”

He was not voted in as a GM. He was voted in as an owner b/c he has made the league a lot of money. He is a very important figure on the financial side of football.
As for the super bowl teams, Jerry had a very minor role in building those teams. The fact is that Jerry barely knew the players names on his own team when he bought the cowboys. He was in no position to "build" anything. During those early years, he was just trying to get out of debt and help out Jimmy when called upon.
You know the history if the team started playing like the Giants the last 4 seasons. Jerry would hire a Payton type coach and give him full control until the team turns around then will fire him. Similar to Parcells and Johnson. They will only sell once they have driven the organization to the NFL financial toilet........another 15 years of the usual should do the trick here!
The only means fans can directly impact revenue is merchandise and stadium attendance .Fans impact very little of the revenue. Even if we stopped watching and buying merchandise, Jerry would still be killing it b/c of revenue sharing agreements. NFL teams make a ton of money win or lose.
No, this is just a Jethro supporter pumping his chest .Did anyone really think he would sell regardless of how high the price might be? He sees the Cowboys as his hobby, his job and a great investment.
Then why would you state he was inducted as a GM like Jimmy was a HC .
His induction was a “ Contributor “. Not football related. Do you understand the difference?
What’s sad is we actually still have fans who support and defend him. They actually think he’s what’s best for Cowboys Football.
Here your post I responded to:Where I said that?
while I wish it were that simple, I honestly don’t think it’s about the money

Your post clearly says he was inducted for helping Jimmy build the championships which would clearly mean as GM. That’s not why he was inducted which you appeared to be trying to present as such.
Im not sure you are grasping “ Contributor”. It’s not football related.
Yes,those are all contributions as an owner. Not building or helping build championship teams with Jimmy as a GM.This is simply not true........

Jerry Jones’ road to the Hall of Fame began on Aug. 16, 2016 when he was named a contributor finalist.
“I can’t tell you about how humble and gratified I am,” Jones stated after learning he was selected as a senior finalist.
He was officially elected on Feb. 4, 2017. The selection meeting was held inside the Super Bowl LI Media Center in downtown Houston and capped a year-round selection process.
Jones bought the Cowboys franchise in 1989 and quickly restored a winning tradition in Dallas. Under his leadership, the Cowboys captured three Super Bowl championships over a four-year period with victories in Super Bowls XXVII, XXVIII and XXX. In addition, the team has won nine division titles during Jones’ era. The Cowboys owner has also had great influence on the growth of the NFL. His impact in areas of sports marketing, promotion and development greatly enhanced the league’s success and also altered the American sports culture over the past three decades.
Like I said the way you stared it came off as he deserved as much credit as Jimmy and why he was inducted. It wasn’t clear if you grasped the difference . The Contributor designation is not specifically an induction which is football related like a GM, HC or player.Again, where did I say GM......I was in fact thinking as an owner but even using his GM title it still applies to his enshrinement as a contributor.
Where does this say his contribution IS NOT football related?
