La'el Collins and Chaz Green bring great position flex to the #Cowboys.
True, if either of them were actually playing.

I'm very concerned if we rely on Green we'll be in trouble because a backup will be playing a lot of games.

I don't understand how anyone could ever say that the RT is Chaz's job in the future. This guy has only been available for a handful of games in his 2 year career..... he can't be counted on to be healthy, no matter if its bad luck or not.

I agree. Really like Green's ability, but the guy has to prove he can stay healthy.

This is not a caricature of a Jerry Jones' answer:

Just to confirm, that's a direct quote from jeri?

By a country mile and it's not even close

Leary is easily the most unheralded O lineman on our team. He is an absolute beast especially in the run game. I'm no film buff but I've seen a number of plays where he's completely destroyed his man. He also seems to quietly have a bit of a mean streak, which is always nice.

Here's the thing with both the Green and the Collins situations going forward. Neither is replacing the incumbent this year, but getting both back as depth is a good thing. Like it or not Leary will move on next year, he wants to be a starter and will be signed by someone else. Collins starts next year and will only get better and better - younger guy, cheaper - for now, it is what it is.
Green, has the talent and the want too. Remade his body over the last off-season and looked good subbing for Smith on the left side. Just like Claiborne, has had trouble staying healthy. But I'm sure will be given every opportunity to unseat Free next year. Between Free, Green and Looney ? Think RT is covered for next year. If Green struggles next year as well, then a draft pick will have to be spent, but not this next draft. If they have been patient with Claiborne, they will be with Green as well.
My 2 cents.
