Honest question.

Is Jerry poor for an owner outside of what the Cowboys are valued at? I dunno how much oil wealth he has.

I know Mark Cuban came in as one of the richest owners and now he’s one of the poorer ones.
Made a lot of money in a natural gas company purchase that made him more money than the Cowboys a couple years back. He also owns the venue rights for other teams stadiums through another one of his companies. NFL revenue is shared and he worked out a deal that Cowboys merchandising sales are not.

1. “Show me any other year”…. Mr. “astute” observer, that wasn’t even a “thing” until 2022, proving you have no clue about the vote.

2. So what? They played the trash NFC East, with 3 of the absolute worst defense in the league, you know what you use as an excuse for Dak and this team sucking this year “Mr astute”.. they were pushing those same numbers under Kellen Moore. 8 of Dak’s passing TDs were against the sorry Commanders, after they traded 2 of their best defensive players and 4 of them in a meaningless game that had zero implications. And the “numbers” show Dak was garbage against good defenses and numbers show he was trash when it counted as usual.

3. Sure buddy.. i don’t use stats or actual facts.. you and your “2 year” of MVP voting stats for “second place” sure showed me..

Umm….whether or not how many years that voting process has been around he still has played in the league since 2022- and he still finished 2nd in the voting lol….it doesn’t diminish it because you don’t like the player.

You don’t use actual data- I just provided it and it shows you’re wrong. When shown you are wrong you discredit it or say “those games don’t count” and lastly again lame as hell using parsons brother or lambs mom as a reference lol…..loser status

You didn’t use jack squat other than a retort thaf “a second place” voting for MVP, meaning a participation trophy, was some type of evidence he “played better” than years prior. A vote that only happened since 2022, meaning 1 year prior to last year out of the 8 years Dak played. You don’t even know what you are even debating anymore.

Nothing of that participation trophy changed the fact he SUCKED prior to the bye, get absolutely destroyed on prime time against the 49ers with his stacked roster and being called out on live TV by NFL players about how much he sucked. None of that participation trophy changed the fact he absolutely sucked his last 5 games, with their offense averaging 17 PPG against 3 winning teams. And then getting blasted by the Packers only got him to pad his stats against third string scrubs on defense playing prevent.

Guess what buddy since we are talking actual numbers here, They didn’t vote for MVp participation trophies in 2021, but I’m pretty sure he would have had some second and third place votes with the number 1 ranked scoring offense also if they actually voted. Just like last year, in 2021, Dak tallied stats against garbage competition and started off the year scoring close to 35 PPG until they met Denver and their zone defense of Fangio and Dak proceeded with his seasonal nose-dive of horrible play. Let’s not forget he also got help of a bunch of TOs in 2021, just like last year with Bland’s pick 6s returned for TDs inflating their scoring totals in the scoring per game stats. They, further in fact, averaged more PPG in 2021 while going 12-5. So when I say Dak pretty much was being Dak, I was right. Just like in 2019, when they started the season putting up 35 PPG until Dak imploded like usual. Whether it was MM or Moore, typical Dak.

But then again buddy, the point would sail over your head regarding “second place in the MVP race” from 2023…

Yep.. just saw this.. he almost blamed himself.. almost.
Exactly, this is Jerry's way of pretending to take some blame by passing the blame all around. There is one man responsible for this mess and it is Jerry. Bad players are not going to miraculously play better because they are getting a paycheck from Jerry. They will give you all they got, but it is not much to begin with.

I'm believing that Jerry is really ready to win some games.

Well Jerry…you have said multiple times that you are the final decision maker and that the buck stops with you, so no matter how you spin or deflect this, you are the sole architect of this dysfunctional mess you call the Dallas Cowboys…the depths to which the team has fallen from the previous year is staggering and only serves to confirm your neolithic incompetence as the General Manager.
How will you fix this Jerry? You are not able to acquire FAs who will help the team due to the contracts you gave to Dak and CD. Yes, you build via the draft, but you are giving away meaningful draft picks for marginal players, who won’t likely crack the starting line-up; or you sign players who are past their physical prime because you have a soft spot for them. You passed on Henry to sign Zeke…what GM in the NFL would make that same decision.

Wasting your energy.. if they don't understand how bad Dak sucks by now.. there is no hope educating them.

Best way I've used is to try and explain it like playing Madden. Dak is the guy who thinks it is fun to be out there throwing the ball 54 times on rookie mode putting up league record points and winning 74-0 and 700 ypg passing stats.. and celebrating your 'legacy' rating like it means something. Then they go online and realise they get stomped by an 8 year old before dinner.

Dak pads the stats, looks pretty from afar but is trash. His record will flatter him far more than it should.. and the real record should he his first half stat lines, particularly against opposition that are above .500
