Jerry on Zeke (after the draft): “No, no, not at all. That ship hasn’t sailed yet. We haven’t made a decision."

I promise the board!! My word as a man in the universe.

If they resign Zeke Im done with the Cowboys forever!!!

If they are THAT stupid Im done!!
But you are OK with the QB who has done more to lose games than Zeke?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Zeke fan at all. I just want to point out that neither one is going to help the team win a championship. I also don't believe either one is really all that interested in playing at that level.

I mean what's he supposed to say.. No we don't want him he sucks.. It's not in Jerry's DNA
He is supposed to say, "we are moving in a different direction, and we thank Zeke for his contributions to the team" - that would have been the way.

I think Dak does want to win a title, but lacks the consistency to make it through a SB run without a poor performance in at least one of those games.

Zeke stopped giving a damn when he got paid.

Romo just wanted to be a celebrity and never gave a damn about being a champion, so Dak is better than Romo in that regard.

This is nonsense. Ppl just spew so much hate on this board it’s sick. Zeke cared and did so much his body got worn/beat. Romo gave his whole body for this team. Your just hating it’s sad.

Just when you think we are leaning more towards professional football team than circus act the drunken clown appears to remove all doubt.
yeah I was going to say just when jerry starts to seem not as dumb, he says this lol.
Jerry likes zeke, no one else wants him back except dak and jerry lol.

A short yardage back is as much of a waste of a roster space as is a cold weather kicker.
It's not like there isn't another player they couldn't cut. Inevitably there is going to someone who will give you much less than Zeke would. Turpin, Tolbert, Simi Fehoko, McKeon, etc.

....I'll be the antagonist here. I think it would Ok, getting Zeke back. If they can use him to his strengths, its an asset.

He's only 26, sure he's lost explosion. But he can block, catch passes out of backfield and still very accountable in goal line instances.

Can anyone tell me how the money would work? Since we released him we have a dead cap hit correct? If Dallas brings him back do they still lose that cap space?
been asking this same question... if the 6mill cap hit is set in stone then no thanks BUT if they resign him at a 1mill base and it replaces the 6mill then lets see if he can make the last spot.
