Same for CD, that's why does not get the ball in second half.
Serious question though, do you think the city of Arlington has gotten their money back and then some on that stadium? I'm asking in earnest. I used to come to games at the old stadium and would occasionally drive by the area of the new stadium during the construction. The growth in that area has been tremendous and I'd wager most of it doesn't happen without Jerry World. I mean the Rangers and Six Flags were there for decades without eliciting that kind of growth. This is Texas.. and football is king here. But you already knew that.Having Arlington taxpayers help fund the construction of your new stadium also helps. The city also imminent domained many people out of their homes around the land where the stadium was built.
I'd say absolutely- case and point is how many people simply make dallas a destination game, the tourism is amazing and when you throw in the sheer volume of concerts and other events it's got to be a big positive.Serious question though, do you think the city of Arlington has gotten their money back and then some on that stadium? Add in a good dose of calculated riskThis is why no one can tell me that you have to be smart to make a billion. Hard work and some luck can get it done too.
Exactly.. the number of bars hotels and restaurants that have popped up around that complex is staggering. People who complain about cities investing in stadiums/arenas don't get it. Generally speaking those buildings revitalize and energize the area around them like no other.I'd say absolutely- case and point is how many people simply make dallas a destination game, the tourism is amazing and when you throw in the sheer volume of concerts and other events it's got to be a big positive.
