Corners rarely come back from that dreaded Achilles injury, remember Kevin Smith. For linebacker, cannot see them heading into a draft without a veteran starter next to Clark. They will either resign Lve or someone similar, at least as a stop gap.
Yes forgot Brown's injury was an Achilles - shame, he actually had a nice rookie year, I remember him holding his own against AB when we played Pitt that year, thought he'd have a better career.

What do you think of Clark?

I know he's got the speed and a lot of people are high on him and he is coming back from a major injury but I still see him as tentative.

Now obviously coming back from an injury and being a rookie will do that, I would just like to see a bit more.

Clark just needs reps, remember he missed all of camp. Having a vet next to him really helps his development.

He maybe building up his value to a point above what we'd pay ... resulting in a higher draft pick compensation to us if he signs with another team.

I don’t think Jerry thinks that far ahead….or ahead at all…
