They just said on ESPN First Take that Jerry said Deion could cover Megatron. This thread isn't to speculate about the hypothetical matchup. Why is Jerry still talking? His organization just got humiliated and he can't keep his mouth shut. Does anyone know when he said this. It's getting to the point where I like to see Dallas get humiliated just to make Jerry look more like a joke.

obviously Megatron can be slowed down. He doesnt hang 329 yards recieving on teams every game.

We just suck so quit making excuses Jerry and please just shut the hell up.

Jerry must have some sort of grudge against Calvin Johnson, he was running his mouth about how he isn't that concerned over Megatron and now this. Just let it go old man.

Maybe. Maybe not.

All that matters was the guys he's paying right now couldn't.

I'm sure Johnny Walker must have played a part in his statement.

exactly. Thats the entire thing. Not whether Deion could or couldnt. Its why bother discussing it? I think he was asked about it....but why not say "lets deal with this team right now. Lets not deal in hypotheticals".
But....Jerry cant do that. Jerry needs to hear himself talk. He is a buffoon. Who's with me? Is Jerry a buffoon?

Cool post!

So what's your favorite NFL team?

I've been a Cowboys fan my whole life. But after Jerry says something stupid like this, I feel torn. I like seeing him get humiliated because, like you said, he is a buffoon. The problem is, his humiliation comes at the expense of the Cowboys'.

A reporter asked Jerry is Deion could cover Megatron. Jerry didn't just throw it out there.

This came out last night. Nothing to see here, just our GM running his mouth again instead of running the team.

I find this quote more concerning...............

Jerry Jones: 'Very good thing to be relevant'

The discussion about Dez Bryant continues to dominate the airwaves.

Much of the talk is far from flattering for the Cowboys’ No. 1 receiver/lighting rod. Bryant has been called a baby, a petulant child, a diva receiver and a prima donna in the days since he had a couple of emotional outbursts on the sidelines during Dallas’ 31-30 loss to the Detroit Lions.

That’s fine by Jerry Jones. Heck, he considers it great marketing.

“I think it’s a very good thing,” Jones said Tuesday on KRLD-FM. “Yes, you can have some bad publicity, but I think it’s a very good thing to be relevant. I know it is. When you are relevant and you do happen, that fire starts, it’s like putting a match in a room full of lighter fluid. And I look forward to that.

He seems more concerned with being relevant these days or the past several years.

How bout show some respect to the man that just got 329 yards on you? I don't care if he was directly asked the question. Anyone with class and common sense would have said, "I don't know. It would be fun to watch."

Right. Just say that's nothing anything I can answer with certainty but damn that guy can play him some WR.

And somewhere Calvin is smiling..
