Jerry says we are not done in free agency

Yes, Ogletree is currently occupying the 3rd WR slot because Roy Williams is no longer with us. What Ogletree does best is being constantly present in the coaches dog house. I don't have any faith in him at all, so I hope we can have a real 3rd receiver to enter the season. No one can say Ogletree has earned the 3rd receiver slot. Well, I guess they could, but I don't know what it would be based on.

No one has said he has earned anything by being here. However this is his third year and he has had flashes! We are indeed here in training camp to see if he takes the third reciever spot? I won't annoint him the position but don't say he hasn't earned anything when camp has just started!

That'd be great.

I hate Jerry likely more than most here, and I like signing guys that can help to 1 year deals. These guys aren't long term answers, just stop gaps to get by this year. I think it is a smart move for once.

I cant decide if I am more nervous about Holland/Costa/Arkin or Smith/Young.

If I had to say now, it would be Holland, but I will like to see them play first.

I could care less who the 3rd receiver is as long as it' s the best of the young talent. My concern would be is Ogletree or whoever ready to be the no. 2 if we have and injury? Same with the right guard position.

Please trade for Logan Mankins... how much easier could you make it for Tyron Smith than to have the best guard in the nfl beside him?
It's too bad Dexter Coakley retired.

I guarantee there will be some interesting names cut when people have to slim to 53. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we save enough money to sign a few players then. Most likely veteran depth.

Maybe trades, I'd love to trade for a healthy, younger corner back. A guard is probably the biggest need though, I in no way trust Holland. Maybe as a backup but ugh with Smith being a rookie, I would like someone reliable with him.

The biggest deficiency by far on the current roster (assuming TNew can play this year and Gurode is okay) is RG. I don't trust Holland at all and I'm not convinced Costa is going to be an adequate starter.

I really hope we put a high priority on Center and Guard in the next offseason.

FWIW, Broaddus said on 103.3 tonight that a front office guy told him they're planning to go with the young guys at third WR.

I'm all for Brian Waters, though. I feel much better about Holland as veteran depth at guard than I do about him starting at guard with no veteran depth behind him.

Bryant Mckinnie

He's a fat *** yes, but maybe getting released will get him motivated again to get back in shape. He's only 31.

And while we're at it bring back Davis too.

Seriously, if one of our starters go down at the tackle or guard position, we're ****ed.

What does Jerry know? People in here have assured us he is broke and doing nothing. They could not possibly be wrong.

Jerry could really be surprised when he finds out from Stephen.

There are holes in this team the size of Texas Stadiums roof, oh yeah it doesn't have a roof, it doesn't even exist.

Jerr-ster should sign a DB and an OL. Maybe a LB or a real RB.
