After Troy's strong but silent criticism of Jerry in the recent "A Football Life" episode and his criticism of Jerry's Romo comments, you can bet Jerry was itching to get a dig of his own in.

I wonder if Aikman's A Football Life might be adding to some of Jerry's comments. It is pretty evident that Troy was not happy with the direction of the team after Jimmy left.

Just watch this. Troy was taking shots at Jerry during this reunion.

Is he wrong tho? This is sports let's have fun. Romo and dak shouldn't be having throwing competitions in practice with the whole team watching. Football takes itself way too seriously

Jerry is just telling the truth, if Dak is mentally weak enough for it to affect him he shouldn't be the QB. He's starting on Sunday and he can shut everyone up then.

As time has gone by, I am starting to understand Jerry better than most apparently ..

What he is trying to say is, "Maybe in that situation it would have bothered Aikman when he was that age, but it does not bother Dak."

He is not trying to insult Aikman by that, but rather he's trying to compliment Dak by saying, "It won't bother him."

Of course, the words he is using are more broad and less detailed which leaves it open to misinterpretation.

That said, the popcorn's popping as I am sure this thread will be quite entertaining before it's over

Any time someone sticks a microphone in Jerry's face it's like a Nostradamus quatrain (generally a lot more than 4 lines though) - it's so vague and confusing that you can get anything you want out of it. I swear that half the time it's just word salad.

He's probably has a staff of young hot secretaries/bartenders/pole dancers(I prolly would) who monitor anything Dallas cowboy on the web and bring it to his full attention, he's just dropping return fire cuz troy stated he was 'dumbfounded' by JJ continually stirring the tony/dak drama,,,

I was gonna post on that 'dumbfounded' thread here,,,but self control gained the upper hand as it was gonna be slanted/not kind to ex#8,,, and that in my code of cowboy ethics boarders on sacrilege,so I left it alone.

Don't read too much into it. Aikman and jerry are cool. Jerry loves Troy. Still does. Yes there were issues while Troy was playing but they've put all that past them. Jerry still thinks very fondly of Troy. Got him his first three Lombardi trophys. Troy goes over for dinner when he's in town. This isn't a big issue
